I agree 100% anybody that says he needs to fight in America to be vindicated in his performances are just trying to discredit him and don’t understand just how global the sport is at this point. I will say though with as many Mexican champions there are at 126 he could benefit from coming to California and fighting them there and gaining notoriety from the Mexican fans. Also there’s a solid Japanese population in California that he could build on to and try to become a recognized figure like Shohei Ohtani. Mayweather will always be bias and put the American flag over all the international boxers any day. Real boxing fans. My apologies, true boxing fans, will recognize the greatness for what Inoue is displaying in the ring. Many true boxing fans are tired of waiting for these boxers especially in the US, to go fight the best of the best. In the lightweight division which should be considered the most toughest weight class of the lower division, Mayweather have Haney, Shakur and Tank as the top dogs of the division. Yet, none of those boxers have fought one another. You got Crawford and Spence that both waited over 5-6 years to make the fight happen. These are the top dogs of the P4P list? Ducking and just waiting? At least Canelo got the huevos to move up weight and challenge Bivol. If Crawford can make the fight happen with Canelo this year and beat him, he deserves his flowers and he deserves to be at the top of the P4P. But then you got Inoue that enforce a "clause" within his boxing contract with his trainer and coach that he will not face any easy opponents and only the best of the best in the weight class he's competing in. That's the main difference between the monster and all the "top boxers" Mayweather raving about. If you have the mentality to face the best and put it into action instead of blabbering about the potential fight, then you deserve to be recognize as great. All these cats in America need to take notes from the monster.
