Do you think this will be 1 round job from The Monster? Or do you thing Doheny will actually surprise us?
@rpstneureis2 ай бұрын
I think there's a chance that he's more durable than we expect but I just don't think he'll get much meaningful offense going. We can never dismiss a puncher's chance though.

Inoue did not choose this opponent, TJ Doheny. TJ was happened to meet the schedule of Inoue’s September bout. Goodman was the one that got into the ring right after Inoue/Tapale fight and ran his mouth. Inoue accepted and set for this September. But then Goodman pulled out and wanna fight someone else then he claimed that he’s broke his hand. And now the only one that willing to take the September fight is TJDoheny. Inoue’s train will keep on moving. He wants to stay active. He is not going to wait for anyone who doesn’t want to fight on his schedule. There’s narrative that Inoue is ducking and choosing weak opponent. Lol
@rpstneureis2 ай бұрын
Also that WBA mandatory order was some suspiciously off-protocol bullshit. Giving 3 months notice to fight the mandatory right after his most recent fight? They tailored that shit to directly exploit his fighting schedule. Which other top fighter is even expected to have two fights within 4 months of each other, let alone being given that little time to fulfill a mandatory order that came out of nowhere? Canelo's been avoiding Benavidez for like 3 years now and people are saying this is somehow equivalent.

In his first year and three fights at Superbantamweight, Inoue has taken on rank 1 (Fulton) rank 2 (Tapales) and rank 5 (Nery) according to the Ring magazine. Doheny is rank 7 and was selected after Sam Goodman made himself unavailable (Rank 4). Tell me another fighter clearing out divisions like that!

Love the monster so much but im worried for him in the next 2-3 weight classes. I honestly think he is close to his ceiling when it comes to weight classes, maybe one or 2 more classes up and its really, REALLY gonna start getting dangerous for him.. theres some 6ft tall champs in the weight class right above him, and i know he a short king, but even pacquiao and canelo had to stop going up in weight eventually, there are human limits that are unbreakable

Noteworthy factors: Doheny's KO punch is his left hook. Inoue's only weakness is against left hooks to the head from below while fighting inside and this is the only weakness he can't fix because his instinct is to protect the body when the opponent's arm is below the shoulder line. (Donaire fight when he cut his right eye, his only KO in the Nery fight, and the only power punches to hit him in the Tapales fight.) Inoue has fixed every weakness, but this is the one weakness he can't fix and all of his recent opponents know this and prepare accordingly. Doheny's KOs come in the first 4 rounds and then he loses his mojo. While Inoue has the KO power in all 12 rounds, most of his KO's come after 4 rounds when his opponents are worn down. Doheny gains on average 12kg on fight night from weigh in whereas Inoue only adds 6kg. That's a difference of 3 weight classes. While many mark this as an easy win for Inoue, Inoue is deliberately taking a huge risk by fighting an lesser opponent that can take advantage of his weakness and will weigh a lot more on fight night. This fight is going to be interesting on many levels. Can Inoue finally fix his weakness against left hooks while fighting inside? How effective is Inoue against a fighter 3 weight classes above him? This is a preview to what we can expect from Inoue when he moves on to the next weight class and I'm sure Inoue sees this as a preparation fight to move up.

I think it's a bad thing to go toe to toe with Inoue up close. Nothing good ever comes of it from poking the hornets nest. Doheny would have better success on the outside. He needs to be careful of Naoya's check hook to right uppercut that he loves to use against southpaws. That one has caught almost everyone off guard if not knocked them into a daze
@droptopp34792 ай бұрын
honestly both ways are bad against inoue lol, tapales and fulton fought on outside, they lasted but still got KOed in the end. But if you trade with inoue then youll lose faster than 6rds. Anyone who came out trading shots with inoue early never lasted past 6rds
@lncarpenter32 ай бұрын
An aggressive Monster steps on this dude, but in the event Doheny can discipline him with a few counters, there is a path to victory for Doheny as Inoue has that horrible habit of pulling out straight back with his hands down. I don't think the guy has the athletic ability to pull it off, but....
@BoxingLife2 ай бұрын
I agree about the pulling back, but he is usually so quick at doing it, opponents don’t catch him in time. Tough ask for Doheny! But hey! No one thought Inoue would get knocked down vs Nery. Anything can happen.

What about youtube Casimero? Is he even a boxer anymore? He was a very big trash talker but cant walk the walk. I think casinero is scared and not serious about committing to fight inoue lol. Filipino fan really put their pride and hope on a scardy cat youtuber Casimero. Trash talking dont give you fight because in the end, all you are only doing is talking, no action. Casimero need to win a belt and become a threat that worthy of giving inoue a name. Casimero is just a youtuber bum right now which is why i dont take him seriously as a boxer anymore. Ever since he started his rant on inoue and that failed fight he suppose to have with inoue, he became a full time vlogger and not fighter. Casimero should of accepted that fight with inoue but instead, him and his team backed out at the end due to not accepting the pay cut. Inour accepted the paycut and wanted to fight but casimero say no and dont want paycut. So filipino fan, your casinero is just in it for money, he not in it to fight and give fan a dream a good watch. That is why i believe he is a liar and is not something worthy to fight inoue if this is how he is as a professional boxer. In the end, Inoue will become better and better and rise while Casimero stay youtubing champion.
