Great pod ep guys! Love the “can Frattesi and Barella play together?” question, because I would love to see them work well on the pitch together! Carlo is correct in that when they have played together so far, (club and country) Barella has moved to the left, but I see it as a problem because he has usually alters his game & doesn’t seem as incisive, and overall yes the midfield may loose its cutting edge. I’m keen to see if Frattesi on the left mezzala and Barella right mezzala is at least trialled one day, I haven’t ever seen it so far. Would love to see if either Inzaghi or Spalletti could experiment and play Frattesi on the left: being more attack minded, still making those bombing runs forward and in behind but then cutting on to his right foot to finish. Only issue at inter is that we also have Mkhitaryan and Zielinski, who are also better suited in the left side of the midfield 3, so it will mean seeing Frattesi ever played there is even less likely this season unfortunately!
