I can officially say that Naptural's videos have improved sooo much! All the effort she puts into her videos PAYS OFF. I mean can you imagine setting up the camera almost every time you do your hair? Can you imagine planning and setting up every scenario and acting them out? Can you imagine putting together these videos? Editing, Restoring, trimming, adding music, improving audio, and then making a script and voicing out the precise instructions??? A video might say 5 min at the bottom, but it must take hours to complete it --from planning to uploading. It's astonishing how much she puts into these videos...

Every time I think of putting a weave in, I see your beautiful natural hair and I reconsider. You're my hairspiration :) How did you wear your hair while you were pregnant? I'm 6mons. pregnant and I just don't want to be bothered with my hair right now.
@Rosannasfriend11 жыл бұрын
ponytails, buns, twists, leaving it down, etc. Not too different from how she now wears it, lol. I hope you find time, cause if you feel there's no time now, how will you feel when you have a crying baby taking up your time? lol. Good luck.

may I suggest keeping it simple. There are plenty of on the go hairstyles you can search on youtube. Alicia James uploaded one a few days ago, and you can find some from longhairdontcarellc, and simplyyounique. Good luck!

Hey Whit! I've been following you for forever but out of curiosity i decided to take a look at the other natural hair channels and i must say you are BY FAR my favorite! I'm so glad you're (for now at least) not selling anything or advertising anything and that you use very little heat and use natural products and make most of your own products. I love you so much! PLEASSSSSSEEE keep up the great work! Peace and love!

Hi Naptural85! I just have to say I love your vlogs. I have been natural for years but never really took care of my hair. Over the years I'd wash and twist, straighten, or ponytail my hair and that was about it. My hair has really suffered for it. I have really thick, kinky-coily, semi-long hair. Recently its been looking super dry and I've had a lot of breakage. Last week I discovered your page and have been obsessed. I binged watch most of your videos and began the hair care regime (pre-poo, wash routine, co-wash, & moisturizing processes ). Last night I tried the Ringlets/Bantu knots for the first time and was pleasantly surprised this morning. Honestly, I was expecting a disaster when I woke cause I had no idea what I was doing. I say all this to say THANK YOU SO MUCH & PLEASE KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING! You have a fan for life in me.

Though most of your methods and products are do not work for my hair, I love watching your vids!all 3 channels!!! I have a passion for natural hair and living in a community where natural hair still has to be pressed to be beautiful I am hoping I can learn about other hair types as well as my own and help people realize the beauty and versatility of hair. I am subscribed to several channels but your life vlog takes the cake. I don't usually watch vlogs or even reality tv but I love how normal and fun your family is. Keep it up!!!!!

It's funny that I watch this video now since I've been wearing bantu knot outs all week. I had been wearing braids for a few months and I've gotten use to low maintenance styles. I love this style because it is so much faster than doing a twist out. It only takes me ten to fifteen minutes to do this at night.

I love the natural curl look achieved by bantu knots. Curlformers give an unnatural barrel curl that reminds me too much of shirley temple. I will forever be a bantu knot/ braid or twist out girl!

This is a really cute look. I think I'll give it a try the next time I have stretched out post twist/braid out hair. I was also wondering if you would ever consider doing a diy on a frohawk style. I know your styles are mostly contemporary/conservative, but I've been wanting to try the frohawk style and your instructions are always the best out of any youtuber.

I am so trying this! The other bantu knot style doesn't work well on my 3c hair because my hair doesn't stay in twists very well. . . so this style is like a God-send. :D I hope this works well on regular detangled, just-washed hair. . .
@ToniChauntel11 жыл бұрын

Thank you for this post! I followed your instructions exactly. The result was the BEST bantu-knot-out I've ever done. Compliments all day, even the second day. I wasn't sure what to do to protect the curls, so I threw up my hair into a top-pony/pineapple. The texture around my face was destroyed :-( so my 2nd day style included a headband. 3rd day hair was a cute high-ponytail. I do wish the results were easier to preserve overnight... Any tips?
