Met my first narc and it lasted 4 weeks because I cancelled a date following a strange comment he made that made the hairs on my neck stand up. I couldn’t put my finger on it. He then attempted a revenge humiliation ritual some days later and I just disengaged completely blocked. my intuition had already told me this may be a person with demons so the moment I peeped the pathetic behaviour, my spirit said NOPE not round here partner🙈 amen

He blocked me on all socials and no responding to texts or calls. So basically he went no contact, and I'm okay with that. After I got out of the hospital from attempting to unalive myself, I want nothing to do with him, he cheated on me, he lied and he manipulated and once I called him out and posted all his lies when he tried lying about breaking up with me to validate him having another gf for over 8mo of our two years together.... He deactived his socials. I have no clue if he's back, and I don't care, the new supply is just as crappy as him to continue to support him after what he did to both of us (she didn't know about me) despite seeing all the lies. But I doubt he's thinking about me... Only thing he'd be thinking about is what I'm saying to continue to ruin his fake "Mr. Wonderful" persona.

The more you ruminate, the more you risk forgetting the mistreatment and only remember the way he made you feel in the beginning. If it gets intense enough, it can become Limerence. It's when you hope they'll come back again so much you convince yourself they ultimately actually WILL. It's living in a total fantasy that deep down you know he knows you're the ONE above all the others and even if you're way older when it happens, you believe and have faith that it will. Totally prevents you from healing bc you're still in love real-time. It's obsessing over someone (romantic) that is not available. Like ever.

This is one of things about the narcissist I pity them for... I am a person I give people the LONGEST leash possible, but once I am done with a person they are dead to me. This is a trait in my family. We let people do awful things and then once we realize the person isn’t going to change we abruptly stop all interaction with the person like the person never existed. The thought of living my life to impress or show off to a person I don’t deal with...that's crazy. Don’t they know at a point you couldn't care less about their lives. Thank goodness my ex doesn't use SM, but he goes to the same bar & grill (that we started to go through together) so I do I see him randomly. I know he hates how anything he does, does not even phase me. He even walked in one night, stroked my ponytail from behind so I would see him, went outside and him & his friend came back in with "dates". I proceeded on with my night as if he wasn't even there, with a smile on my face & I know it ate away at his ego. Then the next time I saw him I think he expected me to say something about it and all I did was wave back and smiled. He will never steal my joy!

I find it a little hard to believe but that’s because I’m still recovering 8 months after his discard. He left me for a younger girl that I knew and tried to befriend. That lasted a couple of months maybe and now he’s in a relationship with a very intelligent and kind lady (we met recently as the ex and I have a child). He seems to be happy with how fast they are moving. I’m struggling a little what with Christmas and everything as he celebrated with his new partner, my eldest son (his stepson) and our youngest child. Rubbing my nose in how much he “looks” to be living his best life. His new partner is lovely, she’s also a psychologist so I know he’ll be manipulating her to make himself look great. Will be interesting to see how far they go. Still hurts though.

After I cut all ties after being told I was fat, stupid ugly, a loser, and he hated me. He went and married someone he met on hinge after only being with her for 6 months. She seems lovely and happy to have him. I doubt he treats her like he did me, at least not yet. The last thing he told me was he wanted me to commit suicide. He will never introduce me to his wife because I have receipts. He even told me he would stop being a father to our daughter if I exposed our messages. After he said that, I knew exactly who he was. Don't spend your time thinking about how good he is to someone else. Remember who he was to you 💯

I took everything (it was mine!) & I left him in the coldest way I could & with as much empathy as he ever shown me. 6 yrs of abuse... cheating, lying, stealing, drugs, pretending to be a Christian... As an older woman, it gets easier to resist when your hormones change (why so many women are able to see clearly in midlife without “ovulation goggles” we are more hormonally driven than we know, until the hormones change. That’s why us older women step into our real power after age 40. I finally left mine, but I think he may have tried to drug me in the past now that the 70,000 chat was discovered; trust me, I can never feel ANYTHING for such a morally bankrupt empty meat suit that happens to be animated temporarily with electricity until his heart one day stops. He made me have to go so dark to get away from his psychological abuse that unfortunately sometimes I wonder if I have a permanent dark part of my brain now. I can look at him and just imagine him in the ground now. That scares me.

I told my dark with the X to kick rocks October 2023. I have been no contact 100%. I do not look on his social media accounts. I don’t want to know what he is doing. He sends me DMs and text messages weekly. I do not read them. I delete them without reading them. I have him and he keeps changing phone numbers and social media profiles. I don’t even get upset anymore. I just laugh and keep it moving. It is driving him crazy that she cannot get a response from me.😂😂😂😂😂

I’m pretty sure he’s not thinking good of me. We were married 31 yrs. I kicked him out a lil over a year ago, put him in jail, filed for divorce AND I get court ordered alimony monthly. I also have a criminal protection order against him for 3 yrs.

@@amachief5959 , I guess you don’t know what any of those things mean? He contacted me 388 times on a regular restraining order. That’s why I have a criminal protection order against him for 3 yrs. The abuse was horrific. It’s very easy to be opinionated when you have zero clue what you are talking about. I go to counseling once a week and DV group therapy twice a week. if I sound a lil bit upset, I have damn good reason for it. I never wanted him in trouble, except the night before I was going to drop the restraining order, he called and threatened me.

I met and married the narcissist, i obviously didn’t know who he was. Id made a really good friend at work soon after and we thought it would be nice to get out together with our husbands, booked a meal. On all of us meeting and sitting down my friend kept looking at my husband and suggesting she knew him from somewhere- a little later suddenly she suggested had he been dancing in some club, “he had”. It sparked a lightbulb in her and she mentioned this womans name, yes he knew her. Then she leaned across the table and said if I remember right you rather like wedding cake, he laughed- I as far as i was concerned was wife 2. It must of been 6 months later police turned up looking for him, he was arrested for suspected bigamy!!! I was still legally married to him though, this was in the past, i happened to be wife 7, thats the 7th legal, god knows how many where in between Never again
