Though...note, that many sing about these things happening in their past with a hopefulness to move on and escape the "trap" of violence, hatred, and drug abuse. It all depends on how a person is singing the lyrics....glorifying the violence or mourning it...deciding to be an angry blilnded person full of hatred because of trauma or circumstances....or moving forward positively with humility.

“Narcocorridos” or narco music, which is basically the soundtrack to Mexico’s war on drugs. Members of the cartel pay rappers to make songs about them, their money, drugs, power. The music glorifies drug lord lifestyle but actually feeds into the recruitment of young people, which helps support drug trafficking. Narco rappers receive threats daily from rival cartel members even if they aren’t really “in” the cartel they make songs for. And a bunch of them are killed because of the business. Source: best gore

he's talking about his lifestyle (music artist) I'm sure actually narcs and drug lords wear more expensive clothing like Louis Vuitton Burberry and Gucci and drive better cars than a Ferrari theres some narco who have lambos if you dont believe me you can always research it yourself narco lifestyle
@quinlansee110 жыл бұрын
Granny Ok first off no... you are wrong they dont have the means to import such cars or clothes so they drive stuff like camaros... and who sais a lambo is automatically better than a ferrari. Im not sure i even understand this comment

"messican" Trap? Trap doesn't have a criminal background, it never had. You are refering to rap. Trap is an Electronica influenced Rap beat that is a part of the edm family.
@waveycrockett9410 жыл бұрын
Antoha0102 gtfo here with your Gay Edm Music i'm talking about Down south Trap Music Boa you know Wocka Flocka, Gucci Mane, Lil Boosie and yes its heavily influenced by Drugs and Crime, drugs such as Lean.
@Antoha010210 жыл бұрын
william crippington -.- Wow that is shite. "Gucci Mane". If you call EDM gay, then I don't understand how an artist named Gucci Mane doesn't strike as gay to you. All of those names you're naming are basically Rap artists using Trap instrumentals. Real Rap is 90s Rap and will remain the best Rap. All of your artists' instrumentals are influenced by "gay" mainstream EDM and you'il have to accept it.

Hey, Vice there's a good musician with legendary music that is still number 1 it is called Alma Enamorada by Chalino Sanchez he's also a Narco music artist too and he died in May 1962 he's still a legend with that music called (Alma Enamorada).

There is a big difference between a narco corrido and a corrido, not every corrido is about drugs and money.

corridos are still dope asf. yes they talk about cartels and bloody scnearios. but all stories that happened. only negativity that comes out of it is that some youth without brains want to carry that lifestyle because its "cool". i enjoy listening to them as folk songs and to be with the family grab the guitar and sing a few.
