Thanks Mac for checking out the Episode. I thought the ending was kind of funny. We just came off a 3 hour game Aibo had won and then this was done in about a half an hour. The table was a little frustrated, and here at In Response we welcome the salt. Stay tuned for another episode coming out this Friday.

Really have to wonder about the threat assessment in this game. Aibo has a commander that costs life, uses life to cast stuff, AND a necropotence in play. And he turreted twice. But everyone just doesn’t attack him when they had the chance. He was just wide open for three turns and Daniel’s beefed up Jhora doesn’t even swing once. Seriously guys? Honestly painful to watch in that it was so predictable.

When Daniel suspends holy mantle in response to Damnation, this is an illegal action because Holy Mantle is neither an instant nor has flash, so he could not cast the spell normally (the requirement to suspend a card). Just a minor little thing :)
@danielbretado76602 жыл бұрын
Suspend ignores timing restrictions. If it did not, most of the creatures with suspend would not work
@lucasalexander33652 жыл бұрын
@@danielbretado7660 this is incorrect. If you couldn’t cast the spell normally, you can’t suspend it. This is why the interaction between Jhoira of the Ghitu and Quicken is so neat because if you cast quicken on your opponents end step, you can suspend any number of sorceries from your hand before your turn starts (which normally you wouldn’t be able to do)
@Doubletape22 жыл бұрын

I've never seen a fair K'rrik list tbh. But we do discuss the decks ahead of time and agree to whats played. Just like at an LGS. The real problem was everyone knew what K'rrik can do, but didn't pay attention to Aibo. Even a few attacks in his direction, could have made a difference
@Aeinxx Жыл бұрын
@@InResponseEDH Just like an LGS, when someone shows up with their tutor heavy infinite combo, mox-ridden Krikk deck, we tell him to change decks or fuck off. Unless you're playing very high power decks that also can go infinite or keep up, you shouldnt be playing against it. Threat assessment was very poor in this game; It had a friendly atmosphere, but the Krikk player wasnt here for it. Lemme just necro, get 15 cards without taking damage, and then continue to tutor my infinite. Suuuure, I bet thats a 7 ;)
