Abzter Gail Grammy are anf never were a true artist anf especially a black artist Gold standard. They're way more political than merit or honor based. I still say judging by airplay and how oft its referenced by commentators, experts, his rap peers and rap supporters; the grammy would be inconsistent. Its nice that a real joint got "nominations" but I too feel this song and album are slightly unsung but means so much to real art lovers. Shame he didn't do steroids like partnering with Sprint to sell a mill in three days and then a genuine album with sage advice and insights would be heralded with mass appeal but again trill ones dont make those thangs the focus. #real #rap #raw #Nas

See this is what makes Nas so goated imo. I remember when Kelis was on that huge press run about him and basically she was airing out all of their dirty laundry to the public. This dude really made this song, set the record straight, while still having integrity and class and the track is still hard too! The flow, cadence, everything is still vintage Nas just from a more mature perspective. Easily one of the highlights on this album and is also why I consider Life Is Good to arguably be a classic. It has aged EXTREMELY well imo. 🔥💯👑🐐🎤

Nas is one of the oldest MCs I ever heard that is why he is one of my favorite rappers. This song is so deep and sad I love how he told the honest story in his song. I loved Kelis and Nas as a couple they look so perfect together, I hate that Nas was hurting and I believe he still love her and she probably still love him. I wish I could be Nas next wife.

everyone hating on NAS and the song but this really is a good song. this is what happens in relationships, i felt them lyrics he was saying its true! the sample did it justice and i like how he showed Aaron HALL love in the video. alot of artists dont show love like that! i play this song over and over sometimes, reminds me of fucked bouts with women and relations! he told the truth, i was touched!

First time hearing this song about he and Kelis. Sometimes in life, God will bring two ppl together to procreate for a divine purpose. God will use their child in a very special way to inspire the next generation. And that’s okay, that’s purpose. Not all marriages work out, not all relationships work out. But guess what it will be okay. You live and learn. You win some, and you lose some. But never give up on love and life 🤎🙏🏾🤎🙏🏾🤎

Nas and Guy are from my era so you know that's a 100% go. DAMN good mix. It would really be dope if Aaron Hall came back singing his entire verse of "Sayin' Bye Bye" from his days with Guy of a re-mix to this with Nasir.

GIIIIIVE ME THE KEYS BACK BABY ... In my Aaron Hall voice...Guy was by far NOT TO BE FUXKED WITH in the 80's Heck the whole New Jack Swing😎👍🏾

Who else has lyrics this real? "We was friends, we had it all. Reason you don't trust men, that was your daddy's fault." Forget being a legend, Nas is in another universe than most greats. He's not even rapping - he's having a conversation with us and his Ex.
