Abzter Gail Grammy are anf never were a true artist anf especially a black artist Gold standard. They're way more political than merit or honor based. I still say judging by airplay and how oft its referenced by commentators, experts, his rap peers and rap supporters; the grammy would be inconsistent. Its nice that a real joint got "nominations" but I too feel this song and album are slightly unsung but means so much to real art lovers. See this is what makes Nas so goated imo. I remember when Kelis was on that huge press run about him and basically she was airing out all of their dirty laundry to the public. This dude really made this song, set the record straight, while still having integrity and class and the track is still hard too!
