Premier was not really feeling it and made a remix just like he did with Represent. Nas wanted to stick with the original beat for Memory Lane, but on Represent he was convinced by Preemo to stick with the 2nd beat. Q-Tip was wrong. @@KvngLxo I don't know, Half Time and World Is Yours are stone cold classics, even Q - Tips World Is yours remix is better then most of any of other beats, maybe bad wasn't the best choice of words but to me the rest just kinda sound sour but everyone has a different musical palette. He had access to the best line up of producer's of the time and those are the beats he picked, this Memory Lane remix proves the point but maybe it didn't fit in with what he wanted.
