An actual boring race needs to be a staple? When your highlights are dominated by wrecks & other incidents over actual racing, you have a problem! It just shows why they did not run there before with Cup & why the trucks & NXS stopped running there in the first place!

@@GNewcomb-q9v you must not have seen the last 4-5 years of Trucks and Xfinity races before Covid ended the Iowa trip. Go back and look. Also, there were battles everywhere all night. If the race was 360 laps it would’ve been a 3-way fight for the lead.

@@revvyhevvy I think it was because NASCAR was pushing for Kentucky to be on the schedule which probably prevented a Cup race to happen at Iowa or else we probably could've gotten it sooner.

@@さいころペンギン when the Iowa Speedway was built, it was only used for the Indycar series, Nationwide/Xfinity series, and maybe some other disciplines of racing. It was only a matter of time that the Cup series came roaring into town.

I used to watch every NASCAR Cup & Busch race but stopped several years ago. I’ve seen hundreds and hundreds of races. Every now and then, I check the highlights and I have to say - I’m so glad I don’t watch anymore. It’s just not the same and I’m not missing a thing.

Probably the most fun I've had watching NASCAR since 2009. Cup series is the most competitive I've ever seen. Doesn't mean the drivers today were better, but more so that majority of the field has a chance to win each week.

the has character but I heard it might be getting a full repave before next years race, because they announced that Iowa is on the schedule next year at the track, that you can get early access tickets to people who were at the track, I wonder how it will affect the bumpy ness, I seen cars at the front straight away finish line get a little wiggly, and I saw chase Elliot get a little loose going into turn 1-2, it was so amazing to be there, 96 degrees it was a hot one, thought I’d might see tempers flare

Not a fan of Burton in the booth, NBC needs a race car driver who has been a Champion. He lacks the knowledge of what it takes to be a winner week in and week out. 21 wins in 695 starts isn’t what it takes to win titles. @@Foxfire_forty-nine @vidmasterK1 The most popular driver hasn't been running very well all season and had a decent car they weren't about to trap him a lap down due to caution. Even the guys in the booth said they didn't understand y they let that go but threw a caution when hemric barely hit the wall and drove off. He didn't have to win the race for that to be true. Use your brain goofball they wanted to at least keep him at the front of the field. You can act like that's not typical of nascar if you want to.
