The itb's are a cool idea but it will absolutely KILL that motor unless there's a new cam ground for it and some other expensive shit on top of that.... I've messed with old cup engines my whole life and something as small as a rocker ratio change screws the whole system up... my white cobra in my profile Pic is a 408" sb2.2 deal with a pro mod 98mm and NA dyno for brake in 2 degrees of timing was 113hp difference at 7900 rpm

I work with flat plane V8's (Gibson LMP2 engines, look them up) that have a similar port injected ITB set up. The intake noise alone makes the engine sound like pure heaven! You really wont regret going that route if you do, it'll be so worth it!!

On the intake; I know that I have heard that the intake can be used to tune characteristics of the engine. Torque, RPMs, and HP can change based on the height of the intake, or if you use a shallow one. Worth reading up on, I can't quote something specific, I think it was Engine Masters that commented on it, but I am sure there are break downs somewhere to help you along. Can't wait to see what you decide on!

I don't think you should put the sump pump up front. I understand you want to save weight using shorter lines. I think it there is enough space in the passenger side footwell, that would be a good place for it. Cut out the whole firewall, tunnel and floor because patching is harder. Maybe not the whole firewall but it would make it cleaner.

I LOVE my Holley Sniper EFI! I highly recommend it not only because it works amazingly, it's also SUPER easy to work on the engine at the track with a "carburetor style" EFI. I seriously can not recommend it enough. You WILL NOT be disappointed ❤❤❤

ITBs are definitely worth it. Also since you’re asking for ideas I’ll suggest one that would require way too much work, but if you could almost make the trunk into a hatchback so u could stuff the fuel cell further forward it would be nice. It would provide accessibility for servicing and keep the weight more centered while allowing you to still have a firewall. Anyways, I’m excited to watch the next version of the build and can’t wait to see some of the new things you incorporate. Enough jibber jabber
