MRN Does such a superior job of calling the race. TV video feed with their audio is the right combination.

it’s superior since they have to paint the picture for radio listeners, whilst color commentators just comment about what the viewer is already seeing

How did timing and scoring say Kyle Busch won when he was in the grass while Reddick crossed the line
@nascargavin88 ай бұрын
He crashed across the start finish line, so he took the quick way back to pit road, which was going backwards, crossing the line again. The transponder registered it as completing another lap when nobody else did, tricking timing and scoring.

These extreme blocking moves at this speed is nuts. I've been a Michael McDowell fan for some years, but I lost some respect after that move. The first block was okay, but the second had no chance, and he wrecked so many cars. Common sense goes right out the window, selfishness takes over, and we say that's okay. I raced on a MUCH smaller scale on local dirt tracks for 30 years and you learn to do whatever you can to win a race while still respecting your competitors. This "win at ALL costs" attitude in NASCAR puts lives in danger. The thrill of victory and agony of defeat comes with drivers winning and losing by a fraction of an inch, not with one driver wiping out most of the field and another wins through survival.
@RobRoeder538 ай бұрын
NASCAR wanted this attitude, and forced the drivers to adopt this attitude by forcing the entire series into a points format that only cares about winning.
@Jwal988 ай бұрын
20 years ago that block would’ve worked, it’s this stupid package, these stupid cars, and this stupid points system.

Don't let plate racing change your opinion on him this is just a product of this type of racing its a split second decision even the best drivers in the sport have made bad blocks before at these tracks.

I’m baffled why scoring initially said Kyle Busch won this race
