Too bad that VCRs were not out on the market in 1977 when this series aired.

Fallen Udal and Jolene were good episodes. Liked Claude Akins in this series and Jerry Reed was great. Hope to see this entire mini series released on DVD soon for the fans of this show and would like to see the rest of the episodes again.

Tony Wells Maybe if the CSI franchise created a CSI Nashville? You could play the head of the CSI team in it? Just a thought.

I'd love to see the "Jolene" episode mainly because it has Ray Stevens in it. I don't have any information about his part in that episode...so I don't know if it's a brief walk-on cameo or if he sang anything or if he had any lengthy screen time...but I'm curious to see it nevertheless. This episode features a cameo by Johnny PayCheck as well as Chet Atkins.

Tony Wells You did a convincing role as the hitman in falling Idol. Hope they eventually make a new Nashville Police drama series in a few years. Perhaps a CSI Nashville. An extension of CSI Las Vegas and CSI Miami and New York? I’m sure you have heard of the CSI Vegas rebook just started. A Nashville CSI would be interesting.

The should be an attempt at a modern reboot of this series with modern headline cases. Sense most of the actors like Claude Akins and Jerry Reed have sadly passed away. New actors like Scott Bacula from NCIS New Orleans and Lucus Black from the same series could become new police detectives in an up to date reboot series? Maybe slightly change the title. Like Nashville Metro 99 ?

Tony Wells Have you heard if it’s been released on DVD and just wasn’t was not well advertised? Or if there are plans to release it? I keep checking Amazon but no luck.

It would be nice if the other two episodes could be located and posted on KZbin? Maybe all four episodes could be remastered and released on DVD for the fans?

It’s been 3 years sense I last posted on here. I was hoping that this entire series would be re mastered and released on DVD or Blu Ray? Does anyone know if it has been released by now? Maybe another Producer will make another updated version of this series in the near future,and next time it might last a few years?

Hi Tony,I'm associated with Barry Weitz.Barry had a mid 1970's NBC TV series titled Movin'On.He was creator/co-executive producer.[Claude Akins was star of the show.] Ernie Frankel was producer on season 2 of that show.I believe Ernie produced this mini series in 77.You mentioned working on Nashville 99.Would you remember Claude sharing any stories of his time with the Movin'On series?...Thanks
@tonywells26053 жыл бұрын
Bill Bazen, I do remember Ernie ragging on Claude a little at the wrap party saying he taught him all knows during Movin' On and Claude kept saying Frank Converse kept making him laugh during scenes and he would break character. Lol.
@vernonconway14697 жыл бұрын
Does anyone remember why there were only four episodes filmed for this show? Most newly created TV shows as mid season replacements start out with at least 6 to 8 episodes.
@tyrese37454 жыл бұрын
It was up against NBC's The Rockford Files and The ABC Friday Night Movie (the latter being in the top 30 in the Nielsen ratings). ABC, if I'm not mistaken, won.
@tonywells26053 жыл бұрын
@@tyrese3745 Viacom was pitching it to CBS as I remember. Half hour sitcoms were thriving and cheaper to make though and they passed on it.
