I would like to offer some constructive criticism. I feel that in these two episodes, a lot of time is spent discussing many different concepts but very few clear-cut conclusions are drawn regarding how the trainer is supposed to use them. The podcast is supposed to be about periodization and programming but very little is said in terms of how to actually implement these ideas, i.e. how to program, how to periodize. I think part of the problem is it's not clear who your intended audience is: new trainers, veteran trainers, or the general public. If I was a general public person or a brand new trainer, I'd have very little idea what exactly I'm supposed to take away from this podcast. Since I'm a CPT-NASM myself and have been training clients for seven years, I understand the concepts, but don't hear much in the way of practical applications of them, or even precise definitions about what these terms mean. I appreciate the idea of a nasm podcast and if it was about more concrete things, I'd probably listen regularly. Thanks. -Mark
