The difference between following an individual in a group is easy. We don't know anything in the ability to communicate, so we use communication and our past knowledge to make any prediction. If we do not learn about anything, everything is a scam. We are afraid of everything so we will just follow a lineup. Investigate closer and that is what you will see from my viewpoint. It repeats itself over and over, it is a loop of ignorance that is all. Ignore everything around you and you will keep repeating because you do not see anything different. Learn and you will find the small details that allow you to be a human being or whatever you like to be. Your choices seem to be infinite, but the defined outcomes seem to be the same from repetitive choices of follow. Try your definitions of individual and group instead, as individual and follow. That will make more sense. Either you are leader or you are follower. Like a paradox, except you could be either if you want at any point. You just have to know that to be true and believe it. And you can believe it because you are alive. You would be dead if it wasn't true that you were a leader. I would assume a good leader is one that has poked a lot of holes in reality. Like you, The flaw is you're stuck on an impossible problem, not realizing that it is solved and it works. It is you trying to figure out the time is impossible. So then it is. Or there's a simpler solution that is being folded behind the scenes that you cannot tell or see at a scale of speed and size to make no sense to us. Think what a whales life is in perspective. Maybe the sun is a creature instead of just a blob. Maybe it's alive but we don't understand how to speak sun. We are on a planet and don't know what an alien would look like. Are we not all aliens to each other. How would you communicate with the sun if it was a creature? Maybe light feedback?
