Natal Moon inconjunct Jupiter- Learning emotional intelligence

In my experience I have seen almost the exact opposite out of this aspect. Generally, I see people who were robbed of actual nurturing but rather raised by parents who made them develop co-dependence due to the parent's own mental health issues. This is incredibly common in situations where a child was raised by a covert narcissist (generally their mother), particularly when chiron aspects the moon as well. This situation is one where the mother showers her child with affection but as a form of control, never allowing the child to experience or express their own emotions. "Emotionally greedy" is not the case here, these people simply need someone, anyone to validate them as themselves. When these people go to therapy or learn how to develop self-validation they thrive.

Yup... I have this aspect.. With moon conjunct chiron. My mom didnt shower me with affection though. The rest of what you said rang true. Its hard to tell which of my parents is the narc in my family.

You hit the nail on the head this was a perfect explanation I have moon with chiron and pluto in the 3rd house moon inconjunct Jupiter and my mom always over showers and does everything for me and she doesn’t allow me to be independent it’s definitely a form of control she want to keep me dumb and stagnant so I will always need her she wouldn’t even teach me how to drive or help me get my driver’s license thank you for this comment it was better than the video😅

I also strongly agree in my experience I have this aspect and was expected to grow up extremely quickly. As soon as I could, I tested out of high school and RAN off to college. After I graduated I never looked back. I had to learn to develop my own value system to trust my beliefs. I’ve never been emotionally greedy. Just the opposite. I’m the one who was always expected to ‘fix’ everyone’s problems and to compromise myself for the comfort and happiness for family members too lazy and self absorbed to solve their own problems. I am the youngest of three. I’m more mature and much more grounded than my siblings. My family members are emotionally greedy ones.

I have this aspect and I have always focused well in school. However, close relationships (the moon) has always been challenging, so I dont think its about going from the 4th to the 9th, at least for me its the other way around. Ive found myself at a place where I don't really know what I want in life but ive realized the only way to get closer to this question is to give myself emotional nurturing & safety. I find the last part of your video really good, it gives me hope to know we can work out this aspect

Wow, you are so right. It's not a point of pride (at all), but my mother completely provided the daily household tasks and my grandparents gave me money all the time, including bailing me out over and over when i had a debt. And i do have this expectation (really just a deep longing for..) and adult life where someone else is in charge of providing me with a clean living space and keeping me out of debt. I am used to being given things. It's amazing how accurately this chart predicts a gamut of things. I also experienced abandonment and emotional neglect and abuse at the same time, and it can be really hard to pick apart where i was oversheltered and where i was left without help (so that i can adjust myself as an adult)

Oooh so thankful for the rest of my chart bc i definitely was the opposite in school. Always the teacher's pet and made good grades (but also got in trouble for talking during class, so that is probably the same). And YES TAILSPIN totally spending the last several years in this type of thing but gettinf over it. Definitely letting childhood go actively, but i have a stellium in the 4th house so ive hear that makes childhood stuff SUPER powerful

I have Moon Inconjunct Jupiter & I remember throughout my teenage years always thinking ‘I can just run away, leave the country, and I’ll feel better.’ I’ve looked back upon this as an adult wondering where in the world I got that idea from and now - thank you astrology, it finally makes more sense. I had a 3.5 GPA in high school & although I had to study more in college than I ever did in secondary school, I still received my Bachelor’s & got a high GPA. I lived in Costa Rica for 1 month in college and I’ve traveled to Mexico many times. It’s so interesting how a lot of what you said really resonated and then other things you mentioned didnt resonate at all. I lost my religious beliefs that I had since I was 8 years old a few years ago…Southern Baptist, Christian & lost the religious beliefs right after my daughter was born. It sent me into a tailspin as I’m sure that it does to all of us that lose that central of a belief in our psyche - one that touches a million other beliefs. However, I wouldn’t change it for the world because I love, love, love this individual spiritual path that I’ve been on & I feel closer to God Goddess than I ever did. As much as I don't like to admit it a lot of this rang very true for me--I'm quite emotionally demanding, although not from over-nurturing but rather a lack of maternal influence. My mom is a Cancer. She's very emotional, but more in a childish way than a nurturing way. I'm actually very reluctant to accept emotional nurturing at the same time I crave it so badly... this manifests in a desire to over-analyze emotional situations intellectually with people, without really addressing the feelings underneath. It's an interesting contradiction between demanding emotional care and refusing to accept it at the same time.

I literally had a complete meltdown when I realized I caused my own drama-like it was a huge tower moment and I’m an Aries sun, Scorpio moon-you can imagine..😆 it was a crash course with spirituality and being able to communicate with spirit through my feelings-I have this exact inconjunction at 0 degrees Scorpio/Taurus. wow! i have jupiter 2 degrees in cancer in the 7th house and moon 0 degs. in sagittarius in the 12th house. this was VERY true for me when i was younger. i grew up in an environment where i was nurtured yet neglected at the same time. it's very strange. as a kid i would be obnoxious and want all the attention from my cousins and would want all the laughs. due to having heart break and let downs from my family and close loved ones i matured early in life. Ultimately im grateful even if it was shitty because im thinking what would i be like if i didn't learn these lessons. great video!!!

Absolutely brilliant, Jewel, thank you for this video! It described someone nearly to the T, and they have the semi-sextile. This person realises that they are lacking emotional intelligence and would like to achieve it, however they are extremely demanding and greedy in their close environment and neighbourhood, and definitely do not care to offer what they are demanding, expecting it to come their way as soon as it is asked for. This person is in much debt to friends (NN in the 2nd house) and is used to falling back to their mother's help once everyone else is drained from providing for this person. In their early childhood the parents frequently had visitors and so their childhood environment was quite lively and always busy. They dislike being alone and are always looking to live with someone, to re-create that busy environment they grew up in. They absolutely act like a spoiled child and get in to the cycle of shooting high then encountering disappointment and so it spins continually, especially when they find themselves in a more difficult period of their life. It would be great if we can get a video in the same style for Moon inconjunct Saturn! :)

I have this aspect and i find you a little bit harsh...I know it's just an aspect and we need to take the entire chart, but i was spoiled in my childhood in a very very hard way. I have chiron in the 8th house, and when you said we create our own drama, i felt very upset. My childhood was a travel in hell, so i'm not sure that i create my own drama... I don't like milk, i don't travel, i haven't pay attention when i was in school because my head, my entire identity was destructed by a heavy messy home. And i think i was cursed because my sun is in tbe 4th house, my mercury too and my moon is in the 10th opposing my sun... It was very painful...

Hm. I have this but I did very well in school. Especially college. Presidents list type grades. Also while my mom was the type to nuture we had to escape domestic violence and were homeless for a year while I was in grade school. Maybe some other aspects balanced it better. I am pretty emotionally intuitive and a writer for a popular web site.

This is true for me. One time a friend of mine in high school told me she envied me because I was so spoiled. I never thought of myself as being spoiled emotionally but I really was my parents always were there for me and overprotected me. As I got older I searched for partners who would do the same but was constantly disappointed. I also know I lack integrity in certain situations and often times lie about who I am and what I really feel. Hopefully I make up for this with other aspects. I want to know what Chiron oppose sun means since this is my strongest aspect with a 0 degree orb. Can I request that one? Thanks!

This is not accurate for me 🙁 this is one of the tightest aspects in my chart and i was not spoiled at all, i was emotionally neglected and abused as a kid and often had to fend for myself. The result is the same though! I am emotionally dramatic , my emotions are too big and i was never given the tools to self soothe or even nurture myself
