lets see Natalie is about 36 in this concert. Those were good and innocent times to say the least. Had we know what was coming I am sure we all would have lived much different lives. She is one of a kind.

Natalie looks so happy and healthy. So beautiful! I can imagine the feeling of the day with that Colorado high altitude summer air. It fills people with positivity and love and you can see Natalie feels it. Her beautiful music fills those mountains with more good vibes. The mountains and the music and the people feed off each other. The people go away just knowing it was great, but not really understanding the magic they felt.

She’s a gem. Proof that women are goddesses. Plus Sara McLauchlin and Sara Bareilles. But never tell them that to them personally. We human beings can not process that. So just thank them. That is good enough.

Interesting thing with Natalie...I had a cassette of the Wishing Chair in 1985 while was in college...don't even know how I got it..I mostly had records at that point. I listened to it in the car constantly and fell in love with it..(even though on that record the lyrics are really hard to understand) At that point I had no idea what Natalie looked like. No pictures on the casette jacket, and there was no interenet back then so I couldnt google 10,000 Maniacs. They never hit it big untill In My Tribe in 1987 so the band was still relatively obscure at that point. I looked for pitcures of this godess I was listtening to but found nothing. It was fully a year later when I finally came across a picture of Natalie in a magazine. I remember being dissappointed because I had conjured an image of absolute stunning beauty. She was more plain and less delicate than I had imagined. But over time I have realized that physically she is more beautiful than I could have imagined.

Burbank Tony here: I SO love her voice. Saw her at the LA Greek Theater in the summer, so lovely. The band’s natural timing seems a tad off , though- raw/real?? She still melts me with that gorgeous VOICE. Wow😁🌊🏄♂️🌊

I've listened to Thank you numerous times and enjoyed it. Looking for information about the band (mostly drummer) came across this. I've seen it before, but it doesn't just jump out. Takes some looking. But, the point was to learn the name of her drummer. I would put flowers on her grave.

Wonderful addition to the show, the country violinist and banjo player. Vocals too. I found, or they fd me, the CD (old time now) that had the story about the women who crossed the prairie. Dang, it hit a nerve with me. That was the Columbia Record co. The keyboard player; looks 1980's. Nothing wrong with that. Trying to remember who she reminds me of. Well, Rod Stewart right off. Her hair dresser should get flowers. The rest of the band too. The fall was so perfect. If your interested, Natilie is still alive and goes on t.v. once in a while. She's talky, but it's always fun. This concert reminds me that this was some of the most talented and enjoyable music I ever heard, but no one likes anyone else's music.

I’m opposed to streaming music because I don’t think the artists get the full value of their beautiful music. I want to simply buy and download it. Then I can sell it by sharing and getting other friends to buy it. That is how things should be. Right?

Okay don't hate me but I think she damaged her voice sometime before this. Just a much more throaty, darker tone. Possibly it was a conscious choice. But I just watched some of her performance on Sessions On West 57th from 1998 just two years earlier and even then it was still the same soaring angelic voice she was famous for. Not saying this is bad but it's just not quite the same.
