I believe Marvel does this on purpose. It doesn’t really work for phase 1 because they actually ended it after the Avengers movie, which they never do. But at the end of Phase 2, after the over abundance in Age of Ultron, they gave us the family comedy ant man. After the millions of emotions they got out of us in Endgame, they gave us the comedy likely Far From Home. It’s like after you have a big feast, they give us an after dinner mint lol

One of my fave things about this film series is how they depict the parents. They didn't go with the ol divorced dad and step dad dont get along trope. Or that the mom's a shrew to our cool easy going protagonist. They all pretty much get along and focus on Cassie and it's nice!

Looking forward to some feedback on that. Thanks.

And it had a nice ending, not counting the end credits sequence. But even that has a purpose, I assure you. It's not just a gut punch. It's very important.

That movie wasn’t that bad. I think most of the hate was just people jumping on the Hate Brie Larson bandwagon. I wouldn’t put it up there with some of the other titles as a “great” Marvel movie but in general it was entertaining and fun. I think the only thing it lacked was a little more backstory/exploration into her history as a Cree warrior (or whatever) since most of her crew were all different races.
@MrDanteMason
@MrDanteMason 3 жыл бұрын
The problem Captain Marvel had was a lack of development. Ms Marvel/Captain Marvel has a long and twisted backstory, that really deserved to be told to explain and justify who she is... they just weren’t able or weren’t willing to give her the 3 movie treatment. That’s why, in my opinion, the Captain Marvel film is the second worst MCU film. Because nothing is as lame as Dark World.

@richardbrown3055

@@Fulschermd the robot personality was intentional, her character’s personal plot line through out the movie is a about a person who been repeatedly tamped down by those in authority positions, taken to its highest level by having her actual memories and personality suppressed, we get hints of personality and those grow as she spends time with Fury and the Rambeau’s. The lack of depth to her character is also reflectively the fact that all of the beliefs about the Kree she has been taught are false and lack any depth or nuance, the other Kree members of her team are aware of her lack of true understanding and mixed with her potential power level view her as a threat.

Fun facts: 1) in the Marvel comic universe, Cassie becomes a hero like Scott. So, when she touched Ava, she transmitted some of the energy and stabilized her condition.
