Natasha has completely bought Wagner's lies. She laughed when it was mentioned that the case was re-opened. She doesn't KNOW that Wagner had nothing to do with it. She doesn't want to know. It's beyond my thinking that Natasha believes robert wagner didn't murder her mother, especially since the majority of people who've followed the case, including investigators, know he did. The Los Angeles County District Attorney, George Gascón has pledged to form a grand jury together in 2021 to examine the many clues and hear the witnesses' accounts of what they saw and heard on Saturday night, November 28, 1981. Just thinking about what Natalie went through that night breaks my heart, ending being beaten until she was unconscious, dragged by her ankles to the swim step and thrown into the dark, freezing water, her life-long fear of drowning in dark water. His reputation is already ruined and I hope he's arrested for murder.

@songbirdy7 жыл бұрын
She was eleven when she lost her mother. Robert was, in her mind, her father since he was there since she was an infant. And he was there for both of those girls after Natalie died. No one can deny that. So I can see where she would believe him. As far as the boat captain, I have read his book. I have to say I wanted him to convince me because I wanted to know what happened. But honestly, he did come across as shady, even in his own book. I do think it haunted him that he wasn't there to watch over Natalie because he was so drunk. Same thing can be said for Wagner. I also think, the way he came to Wagner for money all the time, (that was in his book) that he got with his writer friend for financial gain. He did the same thing earlier in time by selling stories to the Enquirer type rag mags. Truth is, we will never know because the three men on the boat were too drunk to know what really happened. If Natalie was crying out for help, as it was reported, someone from that yacht should have heard her but they were all passed out. If Wagner did throw her overboard, there were 2 other men on that boat that would have come to her rescue. I cannot believe all 3 would have just let her drown. So there you go...alcohol equals terrible decision making, even on Natalie's part God bless her.
@donnaq37117 жыл бұрын

@georgialee67557 жыл бұрын
Teresa Gib The only thing I agree with you on is the daughters not wanting to see anything wrong with their father. That said Wagner did hear Natalie screaming - he knew she was off the boat and he did nothing. There were two people on a nearby boat who also heard the screaming and as they stood on their deck - after trying to call for help - they heard a man's voice saying in an agitated tone "oh hold on we're coming to get you or don't worry we're coming to get you" Something to that effect. That voice had to be Wagners - that captain was in the front of the boat with the music on and Walken was in his cabin asleep so that's why those two men did not hear her and they had no reason to leave her to drown but Wagner did in fact hear her and he did nothing about it. He also waited over two hours to call for help. He is the ONLY person truly responsible. As far as the captain goes he should have published his book sooner but I believe what he says in it and it was actually a good book. I don't understand why you think he and the book are shady! Why? Because he's not rich and famous? There were three big things the captain said about Wagner - that Wagner seemed jealous of Walken that Wagner and Natalie fought that night and that Wagner smashed a wine bottle on the table inside the boat. ALL three of these things were confirmed by Wagner himself!! That tells you the captain is at least for the most part telling the truth!! Wagners anger and jealousy no doubt led to Natalie's death that night whether he pushed her off or not.

I wonder if Natasha named her daughter after her mothers' movie Inside Daisy Clover?
@Tybaltish8 жыл бұрын
MediaLover194 was asking myself the same thing...I'm in the middle of a little NW marathon in memory of the 35yr mark of her death here on Tuesday I think. Watched Daisy Clover for the first time just today actually! It was pretty dark, but I love the honesty of it in comparison to other 'My fair lady' type rags to riches movies. So it makes me kinda unsure if she where to do this intentionally...but I have noticed that NW's mother famously claimed to have somewhat of prophecies come true about NW's life from a Gypsy and had a movie called Gypsy. Then 'Splendor in the Grass' (which I'm watching next) and the boat she passed on was named 'Splendor' '...and I'm sure more from this pattern if I where to dig deeper; so I am delightfully unsurprised actually that her granddaughter is 'Clover'. I love it actually!:-)

MediaLover194 I don't know for a fact, but I would have to deduct that the name 'CLOVER' is in reference to the film, "INSIDE DAISY CLOVER." Every time I watch the ending to this film, & she's walking away from the house, she's on the beach in L.A w/ the Pacific Ocean in the background. It's very haunting knowing the Pacific would play such a part in her unsolved death. It's amazing her daughter's resemblance to her Mom. NATALIE would be so.proud. I must add how you can feel how much she wants to believe WAGNER is innocent. Still way down deep, inside her heart I'm sure, she fears that there's a possibility that he played a part in her death. Perhaps, only on a subconscious level.God Bless Natasha & God Bless her Mom.

I used to wonder how Natalie Wood could drown in the ocean, dark water with no moonlight or starlight. I don’t wonder any more. On Friday afternoon, 27 November 1981, the day after Thanksgiving, Natalie and three men arrived on Catalina Island. Immediately upon arriving, wagner wanted to move the boat to Two Harbors, the western side, away from people where very boats were moored. Natalie didn’t want to move to the remote side of Catalina. She wanted to stay on the eastern side where they owned several moorings. They had never stayed on the western side at Two Harbors. She and wagner had an argument about whether or not to move the boat. She wanted to get away from the unhappy mood and wagner. Dennis Davern, at times called the Captain, who In fact, was a 20-year old young man. He was the maintenance man who lived on their boat, Splendour. Natalie asked Dennis to take her ashore to stay in a hotel on the eastern side of Catalina island Friday night, 28 November 1981. While away from wagner, she told Dennis she wanted to divorce wagner, for the second time. She divorced him the first time, after seeing him having sex with their male butler. He had been wagner’s butler when he lived alone, before Natalie married him. Why did Natalie marry him TWO times?! WHY?!! When her younger sister, Lana asked her how could she remarry wagner after seeing him having sex with the butler. Natalie responded, “Sometimes it’s better to be with the devil you know than the devil you don’t know.” Lana said, “How about being with no devils!” I agree with Lana. Take it from someone who’s been there and knows it’s true (someone who’s still alive to tell you, “Ladies and and gentlemen, do not marry anyone you do not trust!” It’s FAR FAR happier to be alone. Dennis states if Natalie could have left Catalina on Saturday, she would have called her lawyer and scheduled a meeting to divorce wagner. She tried to leave Catalina on 28 November 1981. Because of the foggy and windy weather, no helicopters could land on Catalina. On Saturday morning she called Lana, her sister to help her but Lana didn’t answer (in 1981 cell phones weren’t as common as today). Next she called her friend Mart Crowley. He couldn’t help her because of the weather. I can’t even imagine how she felt, alone and afraid, isolated on an island with no help. So Natalie returned to Splendour, their 60-foot boat to prepare a nice breakfast for everyone, hoping to forget about the argument she had with wagner. Natalie did what she had planned to do, prepared a nice breakfast for the three men, Christopher Walken, Dennis Davern, sometimes called Captain, and wagner. In my opinion, a female should not go on a boat with three men ~ if there is trouble, who are you going to trust? Natalie went on the trip with three men ~ A young man, a 20-year old boat maintenance man ... An actor she had just met that year ... A husband she didn’t trust and had divorced one time ~ for seeing him having sex with a man. Saturday, morning and afternoon went much better. But guess what? wagner still wanted to move the boat to Two Harbors and, in fact, he did. Natalie’s life ended on Saturday, 28 November 1981 at approximately 11:10 pm. Her headstone reads November 29, 1981, the day her body was found. Natalie’s body was found at 7:30 Sunday morning, face down near Two Harbors on the remote western side of Catalina, near the dinghy that had not been driven that night. Most likely, you know, Natalie’s death was ruled “accidental drowning” by the coroner, Thomas Noguchi. He had just given William Holden’s cause of death, which told with too many facts. Noguchi stated Holden had been heavily intoxicated had tripped, hit his head and bled to death. I find it odd that William Holden’s body had been discovered on 12 November 1981, before Natalie’s death. Holden had been dating wagner’s television, Hart-to-Hart wife, Stephanie Powers. He managed a large animal reserve in Africa. Holden was planning to break off their relationship before his death. Instead, she inherited $250,000 and his animal reserve.

Now that she is an adult, I am sure she can put 2 + 2 together very well.

About the butterflies....We have a cabin in the woods. After my 29 year old son was killed, we spent some time there and I was sitting outside in the sun just reading. Suddenly a butterfly came up and landed on my nose. Then another came and sat on my leg.....by the end of the experience I had SIX butterflies sitting on me, very still. I looked at my husband and said WTH? They stayed a LONG time, and I just went back to reading. It wasn't until about a month later that I ran across someone saying when she sees a butterfly she feels it's her dead daughter reaching out. I was stunned. I have always loved butterflies, and have some butterfly dishes, etc. That was the only time that had happened. Usually there are NO butterflies up there.

I found her rather dramatic in the recent Natalie bio with step father Robert Wagner...constantly referring to her Mom as...Mommy. When in previous interviews she simply called her Mom.

Natalie wood was one of the most beautiful women that ever lived... Its no surprise that she loved being a mom more than anything...I want the truth to come out...these little girls got cheated out of a great mom...who loved them dearly... You can see Natalie's kind mannerisms in each of them... I know Natalie is watching over them...as an even more beautiful angel

I've been a huge Natalie fan for over 60 years. I'm sorry, Natasha, but Wagner is responsible for your mom's death. He should be charged with at least 2nd degree murder. He refused to use the searchlight, didn't call for help for hours and wouldn't identify her body. Guilty! I love you, Natalie.

Here's a fact, Robert Wagner threw Natalie off of that boat that night. Not only did he fool the public, his friends, and his relatives, he also fooled the justice system. After reading the transcripts from that case, way back when. It was ✂, and dry for me. There should've been a verdict of guilt, and murder. Everything pointed to Robert, and somehow, some way, he Robert. Managed to manipulate everybody who believed in, and stood behind him. Need to, Retry! Retry!! Retry that bitch!!! And give to him the punishment which should've been rendered down to him from the get goe!

Grief is with you forever, Very well put honey , you're mother was and is loved forever by many , you have her giggles , my middle sister Linda reminded me of your mom , the same looks , dark hair and those eyes , sadly she passed in the late 80 , she also drowned in water , raise you're daughter to know and love her beautiful grandma Natalie , the beautiful ❤️ butterfly 🦋🦋🦋😘💕🇺🇸 I still think she is wrong putting her faith in Robert Wagner , I truly believe in my heart he killed the beautiful butterfly , 😢💐💐 💕. We still watch her Xmas movie every year Miracle on 54 street , with Maureen O'Hara .🎅🎅
