Majora's Mask - The Story of the Legend of Zelda (Part 5)

My favorite Zelda game, very slightly beating OoT! Its atmosphere is unparalleled and I can't wait to see the alleged darker tone to be found in BotW 2.

Majora's Mask should not have been as good as it is. Only a year of development time, barely any titular Zelda presence, no Ganon, no Hyrule, re-used assets and a completely different vibe than the other Zelda games to date. For some reason, all of this worked way too well together and they again managed, within a year, to create one hell of a great game. The pressured dread and atmosphere, along with the creepy setting and the excellent soundtrack made this another hit. The remake on 3DS shat on a lot of thigns that made this game great, and it's still fun to play!

I am loving all of your videos on Zelda. I can’t get enough of them. As for my thoughts on Majora’s Mask, I’ve never owned the game and only played it in limited bits. I still want to get my hands on it and I plan to dive into it when it’s released on Nintendo Online in February. Thanks for your vid’s.

I plan on covering every major console at some point. They take a lot more time than the Zelda videos. I'm already getting a rough idea of Season 4 and I plan on tackling more consoles than ever before.

Ocarina was great to me. MM wasn’t as good but I was a kid so the 3 day thing was hard to wrap my head around. Looks like they are both coming to switch online

My least favorite Zelda title to date. I keep buying it trying to get into it, but nothing. I usually stop after the ocean section. I had it on 64, on the GameCube with the promotional disc, on the Wii virtual console, then finally on the 3DS.
