I'm constantly watching them all with a stupid grin most of the time and nearly cry at some of them with heart-breaking back stories. My faith in humanity is restored. Large family with 10 children, very little money but lots of love, when we were kids, our dad made us all wooden stilts to play in the snow, best Christmas ever

It dismays me to read comments from stressed unhappy moms because they cannot afford “stuff” for Christmas gifts. My best Christmas memories go back to a fancy family meal, which meant classical music playing and cloth napkins with whatever normal food. Our gift was something my dad made. The best ever was the year he made us stilts. Wow did we love those! We kids gave family presents: handcrafted notes with a coupon for some activity we would do for the recipient. Wash dad’s car, do the dishes for a sibling on their day, clean the bathroom for mom, or quiet time so mom could nap. We loved giving and receiving the coupons. It doesn’t take much money to share love, to feel special. Driving around looking at holiday decor, the lighting on houses was another activity we loved.

We delivered newspaper bundles in a whole bunch of little central Indiana towns with names like Mexico. Because Teamsters had the night off. Paper went to bed about 10:30-11:30 pm Christmas Eve. Cold, not fun.

I'm in Athol Idaho and love watching the videos! I'm a 64 year old man who finds himself crying way too much watching the videos. It is so wonderful that someone with "extra" money would give it to those who are less blessed. Watching from Missouri. I love your videos i look forward to them every year! I have been blessed with my own secret santa here in the capital city. I just delivered a baby and had nothing to prepare me to take him home. The pregnancy help center came through for me in so many ways! Not only did they provide me with all the diapers, wipes and clothes I'll need for his first 6 months but they also gave me a carseat, pack and play and THEN they adopted my family for Christmas! They gave us so many more gifts including a baby swing, a bouncy seat, diaper bag and SO MUCH MORE! I felt like one of the recipients of your videos when i received all the gifts they graciously offered our family. I've been in tears for weeks now! I was a recipient of a secret Santa many years ago as a newly single young mother. I went out to my car to leave work and my back seat was loaded with gifts for both me and my son. Hi Patty, I live in California. My father lives in a mobile home park. I reached out to the park manager, she told me there were 5 seniors, that didn't have family or financial help. I couldn't help myself, I bought them all food gift cards and cash. Let's just say, I changed 5 lives, this Christmas. I was blessed and was able to be a SECRET SANTA. Great $2,000 spent!!!!!
