Nate Smith, Matt Garstka, Billy Rymer, Marco Minemann, Arthur Hnatek, Morgan Simpson, Louis Cole, the "metronome's nemesis" type of drummers🤭

I see Nate as this rotating, floating head that is orbiting a pulse that travels along a horizontal line. He circles around the pulse and sometimes the elliptical shape of the orbit means that he reaches out to touch the pulse, but it's always within reach. Then as the circle continues on, he is sometimes right on top of the pulse, in sync. And he has the ability to jump across the orbit at anytime, but he always falls somewhere on the orbit. Yes, this is trippy. Yes, it is primal. Yes it is Nate taking us for a glorious ride. Thanks for the visuals, Nate! Beautiful work as always.

This is a metric modulation masterclass. You redefined what groove actually means! I am typing this comment in front of my practice pad. Whatever I play on this exact practice pad in the next couple of months will be a result of studying every little detail of the upcoming video series. Forever grateful for your beautiful music, Nate!

I am working for the WTO (World Time Organization) and I can confirm, that we had to send out a request to Nate, where is obliged to make a break after every max. 2:50 minutes of playing! The risk that time itself (seconds, miliseconds, etc.) starts bouncing because it cannot resit following the groove is simply too big! We hope you understand.
