One thing I love about Michael's community is that we all understand why he takes so long to post new vids. His ideas are great and the time he puts into his ideas make the videos so worth it. In the fish vid he spent time learning how to take care of a fish so it didn't die, made all the software programming, set up an entire meeting with an entrepreneur house where he pitched a presentation he made, and edited the video himself. And he always tries to make his new videos better than the last. The vid before the fish stocks one, he made a high tech robo dog piss beer. And the vid before that he made a whole surgery robot. We all patiently wait for what he has next and he pays that back by giving us laughter with his next vid

And the great thing is, since he join OTV we still get to see content including him on regular basis

Yeah like the time in between videos we’re all wondering what crazy thing he’s doing and why it’s taking so long, and then when the video gets posted we see exactly why it took so long. Like the beer dog video, he literally drove to Boston and back so there’s a lot of time right there, plus just the time it takes to build something like that and write all the software to make it work and multiple iterations and troubleshooting and trial and error. Plus, he needs SOME time to relax and live a regular life outside of it so it’s understandable if in the middle of it he takes a week or 2 off. This time we know the creator clash thing was taking up a lot of his time training and what not so we know he wasn’t able to get as much work done on his next project because of it. Plus we’ll see just how much time he took for everything once it gets posted. As you said this video made sense because he needed months just to run the trading competition alone. Not to mention the time it took to create everything first and then set up the meeting to pitch the meme startup and all that. Plus he probably doesn’t get right to his next project immediately after posting his last one he probably takes some time off first and then starts thinking of what idea he wants to do next and then researches how much time and money it would cost him to see if it’s really possible to do. Not to mention the main thing everyone forgets, he’s not even a “professional” programmer or robotics expert or engineer. He dropped out of college and basically taught himself everything. So while yes he’s insanely smart and has a natural knack for programming and robotics, he runs into shit in all of his projects that he has to research or learn himself for the first time because he never learned it in school because he didn’t finish. I mean imagine a Michael Reeves who finished school and got a masters in programming or software engineering or whatever it was he was going for. Dude would be making some literally insane shit and it would likely take him significantly less time. So it’s extremely impressive he’s able to do what he does in the timeframe he does with everything else he has going on and not a full education in the field

So much pausing was honestly frustrating to watch. You say it yourself, Micheal’s editing is amazing and the juggle between paces makes for a big part of its success. When you pause every time he stops talking you almost always miss a joke, an awkward moment that makes the video 10x better. Reacting is not always about talking and filling the voids That was just a thought from a random viewer, take it as you want
