I love to see how people react to things that they don't really agree on. I agree almost exactly with Dusty's opinions on what ghosts are. In fact now that I think about it I think I do completely agree. which is weird because I feel like I have some whacky opinions compared to most! But I digress. I enjoyed observing how he reacts because I feel like he handled it with so much grace. He still stood firm on what he believed and yet didn't put down others opinions. Nateland still teaching me in ways I don't expect! Enjoying the podcast as always. Thanks guys!

Loved this episode. Will try to keep this comment short in the event that Nate reads it. For the past two weeks our two year old (Henry) had a terrible time sleeping. First my wife and I thought that it was due to teeth. But after two nights where we had to sleep on the floor with him thought it was something else. After listing to the episode with Anjelah I had an idea. Came home after a long night in the field. Henry was sleeping in his cirb, I stood in front of his door and stated out loud: "If there is anything bad and evil in this house I rebuke you in the name of our lord Jesus Christ" sure enough slept through the night. 44:24 regarding Anjelah's comment "these are the only shoes I have" (to wear to church): when I was about 10, I had a friend sleep over on Saturday night, and she was going to go to church with us on Sunday. My dad scolded her, saying, "We don't wear flip-flops to church." She ran out of our house embarrassed, and obviously didn't go to church with us. Now which was more important? Her being in church with flip-flops? Or not going at all, and possibly never going after that judgy interaction? Still makes me sad. 😢

There is a client who comes into the salon where I work who loves anything and everything paranormal and insists on talking about nothing else. I tend to get very uncomfortable because of what I believe it represents. My solution is to just pray for her, for the space we’re in together and for Peace. It works every time! Some of the amenities included walking distance to the mall, beautiful view of Dave & Busters from the room, and a group of hillbillies sitting outside by a rusty grill. Oh yea, super trendy. I agree with Dusty for once! I stayed in a Tru by Hilton one time, and I’ve never had a more uncomfortable hotel experience. It went beyond the broken lamp and chipped furniture, there was something very weird about the place. I once stayed in a historic hotel in Nevada that was supposed to be haunted which I scoffed at as being a tourist gimmick, only to be woken in the middle of the night by something sighing heavily at the foot of my bed. I’d rather stay in the haunted room than in a Tru again, something was just very off with that place.

I truly loved this episode! I was excited to see Nate make a pop-in appearance. Dusty is true about the spiritual realm. Ghosts are not real. Energy is real. Dusty was right about King Saul getting a medium to bring back Samuel. The reason it scared the medium is because she only sees demonic things and she's only seeing what the devil shows her because anything psychic, medium, tarot is demonic. It isn't from God. So in turn the medium was scared of Samuel because she doesn't see anything holy. So when you watch paranormal videos where people investigate locations, these investigators are not speaking to a dead relative or a stranger from 100 years ago. It is a demon because if God can hear your prayers so can Satan. Demons are the fallen angels that helped Satan betray God. Even if you tapped into that with talking to spirits, you're speaking to demons. I am intrigued with the spiritual realm but I'm not going to mess with it because I know how dangerous it is to tap into it. That's God tells us not to because it isn't meant for us to know or figure out. Love this show and love you guys!
