Great episode of Aaronland! Although it was impossible to listen to the entire episode, because in order to do so you have to first make it half way. And to make it halfway, you have to first make it half of halfway. And to make it there, you have to first make it past Nate’s philosophy on quitting or not quitting soda.
@corymckenzie63543 жыл бұрын
@@yellowbrand maybe he’s referring to Nate’s philosophy on soda. It seams so many people think diet soda is good for you when it’s not. Also the idea of trying to quit something, feeling like you can’t, so you try to quit something even more difficult. Idk

I teach a high school level intro to Philosophy class. So I was burdened with the question, "does knowing something about the weeks topic make the episode more or less enjoyable?" The answer is unequivocally more enjoyable! Watching Aaron flex his college minor and Basket Case read more quotes from the office than actual philosophers, all while Nate is having absolutely none of it was unbelievable! One of my favorite episodes yet, keep up the great work!

Easter Sunday I went to a Sunrise Service as the rest of my family slept in. I've been dieting since September, but knowing full well that Easter was going to be a cheat day, I decided to swing by McDonald's on my way home. The truck behind me in the drive through had a Dallas Fire Department sticker on his windshield. My dad tried from the DFD in 2005, so I decided I would pay for his food. Once I had that thought I couldn't help but think about Aaron's new album, which made me have this thought: When you go to McDonald's and are going to eat bad, make yourself pay for the person behind you, as an "unhealthy food tax." Maybe that will be motivation to eat better...

I’m a 73 year old woman who thinks she’s much younger until passing a mirror. IMHO Nate you are the funniest male stand up around. I’ve watched Tennessee Kid at least 5 times and laugh each time as if it’s the first I’m hearing it. I was making a 3 1/2 hour drive home to Texas from WinStar casino in OK yesterday listening to the podcast and laughing so hard I rear ended a SUV at a red light just as I reached my hometowns city limits. No harm done except his trailer hitch cratered my license plate. Had my car caused extensive damage to his I would have definitely named you and Aaron and Mr Bojangles co conspirators or whatever the people who cause wrecks are called. So I’m adopting you boys as sons and grandsons but don’t expect homemade cookies or knitted mittens cause I’m not that way. But if you book shows at a casino near me I will come see you and buy you a beer after the show. Thanks for making the world a better place. I truly love you three guys and wish the best for each of you. Nate you would have made a fabulous Court Gesture. 💙

I just discovered Nate’s comedy from a suggestion by my brother that I watch his new special. After watching, I’ve been catching up on Nate’s other specials, clips, etc. In The Tennessee Kid, he talks about his dog living six months longer than expected. It reminded me of a childhood experience involving my Great Great Aunt. She was in her 90’s and wasn’t expecting to make it many more days. So much so that my family gave her Christmas presents in like October in case she didn’t make it until Christmas. Long story short, she was with us for at least two more Christmases and I can’t help but wonder if she knew what was going on when she received those early gifts!

And in this 5 minutes Lisa is asking Bart philosophy questions and Bart is quickly answering them. One of these statements she makes is "what does one hand clapping sound like?"
