Saw Nate in Salt Lake last night. Took my brother who had never seen Nate perform (even though I told him months ago to watch the specials & listen to the podcast). My brother wanted me to know up front that he never watched them, and that he doesn’t laugh out loud a lot. Grin? Maybe. But laugh? No. I told him not to worry about it. Nate promised he would win people over who had never seen him before. And Nate delivered! My brother laughed through the entire show. After it was over, he said, “That went by so fast!” Thanks, Nate, for all you do. I enjoyed the evening with lots of Nateland fans around me in the first 4 rows of the theater! Let’s go, folks!

She took a picture of the computer screen on her digital camera, drove to a local camera/print shop to have the photo printed, then hand-delivered the picture of her computer screen to my grandma. Simple as that!

Aaron had an awesome set at the show at Zanies, which kind of surprised me given Nate's opinion on this podcast. That means Bates must be an absolute killer. Hopefully we'll get to see him if he ever comes out to Seattle or Tacoma. Thanks for making the trip that much greater! It was so cool to meet you both.

I wish I had the opportunity to interview again so I could tell someone about a time I went above and beyond at work. As an airline pilot, we had just landed after a flight from Los Angeles to Newark. We opened the cockpit door and one of the flight attendants told me her phone has fallen into the toilet. Like…into the poop. She only had 15 minutes until she had to be at the gate for her next flight so there wasn’t really time to wait for maintenance and I wasn’t about to let her dig her hand in the toilet, so I strapped on a glove, and a garbage bag and just….dove in. Was it chunky? Yes. Was it cold. Yes? Did I find the phone? Also yes. But because I couldn’t get a good grip with my garbage bag hand, I had to push it all the way to the wall of the tank so it wouldn’t keep sliding out of my fingers. When I pulled it out, we transferred it to a clean garbage bag and I said, “You’re gonna want to put that in rice.”

When I clicked it, the first entry had "Michael Veccione - adjunct zoologist" - which led me to think, "Yeah, this guy gets it - he listens to Nateland" - but, it turns out, it is a different person who actually is an adjust zoologist at a university. Advocating that instead of joining a gym to get in better shape because it is very hard, he recommends learning a new language because it is a more realistic goal, Russian none the less. My wife is from Ukraine so I’m picking up some Russian as we go along, but I assure you, getting in a little better physical shape is easier than learning a new language, at least for most. Hello Folks! Greetings from Copenhagen (Aaronland East). When y’all talked about the tallest man, Robert Wadlow blending in, I really related. I am 6’9 and remember vacationing in Maryland. Everyone from the pass port lady at the airport to the guy on the street would comment on my height with a “do you play ball?”. At Baltimore Aquarium, they had a machine that would meassure you and compare you to an aquatic animal. When I tried it, it went: “You are six foot nine and a half. You’re the size of a baby killer whale!” And after a pause it said: “You should play for the Celtics!”😀 In fact, I am an operatic tenor and am trying to find out if in fact I might be the tallest professional operatic tenor in the world. Most tenors are short, so I am working on it. Would be a fun thing to have on my website! Thanks for a great podcast! The light of my Wednesday! Let’s go! Per Jellum, Copenhagen
