Great podcast. I love how they treat Sonny just like any other guy- no celebrity treatment whatsoever. As grounded as it gets. Then a flashback story from BoingBoing's stealing 2B back to 1B had me laughing just as hard as when I first heard it. 5K = 5000 mile race. 😂 it barely got noticed but I loved that too Nate! Tried to get my 21 year old daughter to listen, she told me not her type of humor. Today, I was going to get coffee and she asked for Ice coffee with milk. I get home she said dad, how long would it take you to get down to 165 lbs? It hit me when I told my wife there was a coupon for milk in the paper and my daughter yelled “way to go Lady Bargatze” that she has been listening to the pod as well as all the specials! I yelled back “Hello Folks” which she responded “let’s go folks”. My wife rolled her eyes and left. We both wish for speedy recovery for Aaron, healthy news for Breakfast, Mrs. Breakfast and baby break, and No diabetes for Nate and family!

I'm up to episode 33 and keep bulleting through no matter how boring it gets. Can't miss a single episode of Nate, Aaron, and Hershey. Compelled to comment this morning so adding to the current episode chat, major condolences over the death of Bob Saget. I just turned 50 and up until today, Nateland was my only podcast. Hallmark Christmas Movies!!!! My wife and I watch them every year! It's one of the things we look forward to for all the reasons Nate mentioned, but they're so predictable! I even downloaded a Hallmark movie tracking app so we could check off our list. After we watched all the 2021 Christmas Movies, we went back and watched some of the series of movies. I.e. Christmas at Graceland, and Christmas in Evergreen. Things like the car in the middle of the road in the Christmas in Evergreen movies drove us nuts! Among other things like fake snow, the dad constantly tinkering with the Christmas decorations on the house (who does that), tree lighting "events." Never understood that tradition...
@angie71642 жыл бұрын
I need to know that app. The fake snow and random bows placed everywhere. Who puts a dollar tree bow in a multi million dollar Corp building? Know who? Hallmark!

My husband and I had a good laugh at the fact that Nate likes Hallmark movies! My mom LOVES Hallmark movies, and my husband always gives her grief about how they are so predictable (and the fact that she messes up the algorithm for the Netflix account 😂 and it always suggests he’d want to watch them). He’s convinced that Nate only likes them because they are a good place to find humorous content, not for the actual movies themselves… is this true? I think he’ll be disappointed (and I’ll laugh) if Nate does indeed like Hallmark movies for the story itself!! Thanks for all the laughs guys 😊 we listened to you during our whole road trip from Wisconsin to Florida (and back) over CHRISTmas break. Even the teenagers enjoyed it! Hey Nate, here’s a tip for reducing your sugar intake. Whenever you want a sugary food item (real or artificial sugar) instead eat a candy bar. So if you wake up and want a diet coke; instead, drink a water and eat a snickers bar. If an hour later you want some sour patch kids candy; eat another candy bar. It sounds counter productive, but there is less sugar in something like a snickers bar (20 grams) than a serving of sour patch kids (24grams) or a regular soda (39 grams). Eating a candy bar feels substantial, it’s more satisfying, and compared to other sugary treats they often contain less sugar. After doing this for a few days, you’ll be so tired of eating full size candy bars you’ll cut back, eventually getting your sugar intake to something more reasonable. I used this trick myself and it’s how I quit soda. I lost 15 pounds in a month.

Does Nate considers himself a Rom Com person? I hear him talk a lot about Mission Impossible type films, but after learning that he is a new fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, coupled with the fact that his two favorite moments from The Office were when Michael showed up to Pam’s art show and Jim asked Pam on the date, I’d pin him more as a Rom Com guy. Also, I love the hallmark channel.
