It’s that emotional break in her voice that everyone tries to emulate. She IS the song, and her voice leaks so much raw feeling that you know it’s personal for her. Vulnerability is art in this woman. Nice reaction, gentlemen. Watch Love, Actually! So good!

It was her "Someone Like You" performance at the Brits awards that propelled her career internationally. Adele is pure class, in every aspect of her musical ability, its what separates her from a lot of the dross that is out there. I think she will be iconic in her career like Freddie, Elton, Whitney, The Beatles. Talent of this calibre doesnt come around too often.

The 1st "non choice" that she HAD to choose was stopping singing whilst her son was an infant - the visuals were the sheets of sheet music blowing out and away. The 2nd "non choice" that she HAD to choose was the divorce - the visuals showed her sitting (whilst obviously singing) in a chair, the camera lingers on her hand - minus her wedding ring. From start to finish, the director, very succinctly, embroidered poignant visuals throughout the vid. Nothing in the vid was wasted or frivolous - everything was purposeful and intentional. Most important though, was that the vid could NEVER be "bigger" than the song (similarly, the music was stripped back). The song had to tell the story - the song HAD to impact the listeners emotions. So fantastically clever 👏👏👏👏👏 She can write and sing so incredibly beautifully. What a star 🌟

Thank you for reacting to this, I'm so glad guys: I started crying as soon as she started singing and back to the 14 I was able to listen to only to this song; I'll watch what I missed immediately. She published 19, 21, 25 when she was 27 and she's releasing 30 on November 19 (she's 33, the album took 3 years, she said). On Instagram live she answered to a fan who asked this new album would be about and she replied "Divorce baby, divorce". I can't believe she just calls herself the woman who sing, because her voice is insane! She knows so well which melody is perfect for the lyrics, I mean this is simple, like she ask to take easy on her. That's the calm after the tempest and that's why she goes with the falsetto when she has a strong voice and could actually reach the high notes with full lungs. The film clip too is wonderful, the black and white reminds me of Hello ones even if Dolan used a sepia filter for that (Later on I would find out Xavier Dolan was behind the camera also in this video clip) while the last scenes, the coloured ones bring me back to memory Rolling in the deep where she was in the green room. p.S. I haven't watch Love actually too

I can see this album being amazing, although I feel like it might not quite have as much mainstream appeal. She certainly doesn't need it, she's at a point where she can do anything she wants, and that's the vibe im getting from this, something much more subdued and sinciere than her older works that I feel might not climb as high in the charts

First of all this song is awesome, really one of the best to come this year if not the best. Speaking of movie references there's a bit of this, the chorus part that is very similar to the movie NeverEnding story. The theme song and it's chorus. I just had to put that out there since I've been listening to this song a lot. That was my favorite movie of 1984 which makes me old.

Awesome review/reaction #Easyonme is actually for her son, explaining to him why she had to give up and went with a divorce. She is simply asking him to be easy on her with her decision for her own happiness despite the consequences her son may come around. It explains well in the 2nd verse. In 2nd verse, she says "You can't deny how hard I've tried. I changed who I was to put you both first//But now I give up" She even gave her ex-husband a house right by hers so he could have the best of both parents

@@nathandjohnny I want to say this respectfully because sometimes tone is hard to decipher from a comment, but the comments of “vocal acrobatics” and not connecting with R&B gave me the impression that Whitney would’ve been too R&B for you. However, I’m glad different genres are not “too” anything for this channel. But I do think it’s tough to pinpoint what current R&B artists this channel would be interested in reacting to when it seems like Ariana is the point of reference for R&B( and it’s obvious her style of singing isn’t of interest 😂).
