So pleased for the winners and congratulations to all runners up .Nice to see that the passion and love for the job is still evident in all the contenders .Fresh fish , crispy chips with a batter to die for . I'm lucky that I have one of those kind of "chippies"near to me . There's nothing like a well cooked bag or plate of fish n chips on this earth , served with a smile .

Old school,and believe it or not,for some reason,fish and chips always taste great,must be the paper or print,from Australia,the real old school shops still wrap wit the newspaper.there is white clean paper inside,just adding.

I never realized how important Fish and Chips were to me - but now, living in America where you can't get them in most areas - I miss them so much. Over here - it has become really hard to find Hot Dogs or Donuts (both American traditions), and I would hate to see that happen with Fish and Chips. Appreciate what you have, so you don't lose it.
