I am so amassed of how community of all Kuala lumpur engineers and politicks and employers are so connected with one dream and passion to achieve this dream to make in real . I would be very proud as engineer joining this project. It is inspiring and giving a hope that a people will have easier life in the future. Your are amassing nation and your are a good example for countries who are not so breve for big goals.

Line 2 has started construction and those young Malaysian engineers now can prove themselves, The number of expat mechanical, electrical and tunnelling engineers has been drastically cut, as a cost saving decision from above. I have spent most of my life working around the world on Great tunnelling projects, in each case have tried to teach the locals the art of tunnelling. Luckily for me I spent time working on SMART and this project, so I wish all my Malaysian friends good luck and be safe on Line 2.

I was part of Gamuda Berhad for a few months during the construction of the Hamad International Airport before I joined Public Works Authority in Doha, Qatar. I could not forget the generosity of the late Mohammad Dahan (may Allah s.w.t have mercy on him), who didn't hesitate to accept my job application upon giving him my Resume at Carrefour grocery shop at City Center Mall in Doha. He was the Manager of the Human Resources Management Department of this company.

May Allah save Malaysia and other Muslim countries and societies from what happened in your Muslim brotherly countries of Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Sudan. Aamin. Never ever create conflict among your people to keep the people of Malaysia and your country save from evil that destroyed other poor Muslim nations. Be aware of what’s going around the world. Wow, even the Malaysians with the help of expert foreign talents can achieve this tunnel project working together. Lots of very dangerous moments that requires more expertise help and guidance, maybe can use 3D imaging of landscape before not sure, but manage to complete it - really Malaysians! Tanniah Malaysia!

Wow, never thought how tough the challenges had been for this KL Mrt completion. I dont know exactly how it is with the current and nearly completed Mrt Jakarta, simply bcz there has not yet a documentary like this revealed for public. Compared to KL, it seemed the progress of Mrt Jakarta was not as difficult as this one. One thing I heard that might be one of the challenge was they got through under the river, but still not as hard as to work with lots of cavities in the limestone type of soil and the potential cracks on the surfaces. Tahniah KL. Malaysia boleh

Theo Jacob adding connection of mrt or lrt in manila is not enough to solve the problem of traffic, thats why the duterte admin wants to move most of government offices and facilities to the new clark city that theyre building in tarlac.. kuala lumpur traffic was only due to rush hour, most of the time its happening between 3 to 5 pm. while in manila morning night even mid night the traffic is worst..

@@wildboy3937 Kuala Lumpur traffic used to be bad the whole day. But the Malaysian government had the foresight to move the government to a brand new city in 1998 known as Putrajaya which was voted the best planned city development in the world a few times. The Cyber and technology center was moved to Cyberjaya which has average Internet speeds of above 100Mbps. Most offices there have 1Tbps speed. Also Malaysia build the world's first dual purpose flood and traffic control tunnel (the second longest vehicle underground tunnel) which "killed two birds with one stone" in the year 2000. Also the government has built special lanes for cyclists and motorcyclists and separate bus and public transportation lanes on all roads in the city center. All these have helped to remove the congestion away from KL city center which has the highest density of cars per sq km in SEA today.

Countries have public transport not because they like to but because the roads have become so congested that they have to resort to public transport . And your population is increasing expected to hit 38 million by 2035 (check statistics) . But more importantly to fuel your economy 80% of Malaysian Borneo's Rain Forrest have been destroyed by logging .
