National Geographic: Strange Creatures of the Night (1973)

Around the world there are animals who live and hunt by day and night. Until now, we have witnessed only half their lives. Aided by a specially designed image intensifier - thousands of times more powerful than human eyesight - National Geographic cameras pierce the shadows to capture night creatures such as the owl hunting for prey and the vampire bat hungrily attacking cattle. Even the hyena, often seen scavenging among refuse during the day, emerges as a killer. This film penetrates a world of darkness to reveal these other STRANGE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT.
