Zora has such a beautiful natural action in her trot, gorgeous. Obi looks amazing - very straight down the centre line and a fab halt. They are both a credit to you. ☺

please keep Zora!! she is such an asset to you and you would always regret it if you did sell! beautiful mare and such a bright future ahead that you (yourself) deserve to be involved in!! :D a wonderful mare to do these voice over videos here as she is very clear and obvious for learning from her (as a viewer) :)

I so love your video 1 you say I will take you along for the important stuff etc and you would be bored with the other stuff I am like no we like to watch the nitty gritty of your journey and 2 I like the way you say Obi is going against his breeding but I see it as you are showing people how versatile cobs actually are not just plods or for heavy work 3 Zora is doing fabulously she looks great sometimes you forget how young she is and I hope you can vlog your shows would be lovely to watch them

So educational and lovely to hear you talking about each horses’ movements, how they felt and how you felt the various connections. It’s something I’m trying to always keep in mind as I get back in the saddle after a long long tome and re-educate my body language and understanding on a horse. Thanks for your work!

Miri that looked awesome from both horses. Zora did so well to get past that spook so quickly and what a star mover she is. Could be some good resultd mid week👏 Obi has cone on so much and as you said he seems so much more forward from behind. He looks like he's really enjoying everything now- the jumping snd dressage. I think you've all developed as a team and you also seem a lot more relaxed and content with life. Living for the moment is definitely the way forward. Brill job my girl.👍🇬🇧💜

Miri the camels we all saw that coming. Did you expect zora to spook it amazes me how people stay on when horses do this so quick I don’t I’m off. She is a beauty and still has loads to learn but also has learnt lots.

Im so happy that you described your bit. I ride in the same bit, just a different brand and for hack showing on both bridles I used the same bit just in a fixed ring so it looks more "tidy". So happy that we ride in the same style for our green babies

How I wish I could have a coach like you in Australia! Your videos give me hope for me and my boy, he needs a lot of work and I find it hard to stay motivated when I cant see any or much Improvement. I don't have a big arena to ride in and my boy finds the smaller space hard to move forward in so I feel like it's a constant battle to keep him forward and not rush etc Looking forward to seeing the next few videos of beautiful zora and obi!

Hi Miri. Great training session. I was just thinking Zora looked a little behind the leg when you said it. But better than running on the forehand.👍I'm not that familiar with cobs being in Australia but Obi looks a little 4 beat in his canter? Not a criticism just curious and always keen to learn. Love your vlogs. ❤❤

In a future where corona isn't such a thread anymore, do you think you might ever offer workshops? Unfortunately not having my own horse (I only take lessons once a week) I feel your patreon isn't really for me (yet). But you do know so much and I am sure many other people would enjoy taking courses with you :) PS: I already know so much more about horses and riding in theory than in practice XD

When you emulate the groundwork whilst ridden getting her to bring her inside hind beneath her you drop your inside shoulder, is there a reason you do this? Is is to accentuate your inside leg aid?

Miri I wanted to ask your advice please....I have been looking for a horse to loan for ages now but have not found anything suitable.i looked on my local horse welfare re homing site and came across a lovely looking 1 yr old filly ,me and my daughter are considering re homing her,she is 13.3 now so I believe she could get to 14.2-15 hh at 3/4? Which would be perfect for me.the trouble is we have years of horsey experience but never with youngsters.do you think it would be good for me to go with this or look for a ridden horse? Thanks miri xxxxx
@hackettequine20594 жыл бұрын
hi, I would say having a young horse is a huge commitment and very different to a ridden one. there is no guarantee she will grow big enough either so lots of risks involved. sorry if im the barer of bad news. xx
