If you call back to when Yukino was kicked out of Sabertooth, Master Jiemma told her to erase the guild mark herself. So a wizard can erase their guild mark at any moment of their choosing, even without any help of other people or items it would seem. But Lucy lived for Fairy Tail, even before she managed to join them. There's no way she would ever erase her Fairy Tail mark.

@@jamesc5225 I believe that using and mastering fire magic doesnt mean automatically destruction of everything. I see it rather as having full control of it, which also includes controling what to destroy/melt and what not. (idk if that made much sense, but yeah thats my opinion)

Lucy's face was the face of a depressed person, even her boss where she worked knew it but decided not to say anything and give her a job knowing her potential as a magician and even more so after how Lucy grew up after the aftermath of Tartaros 💔 she lost everything. She only had Fairy Tail left... After a year she kept waiting for them, she kept looking for them and she kept trying after years and after Zera a new fairy came to Fairy Tail and Lucy was that person who, even though they were separated, kept that hope. light 👆seeing his eyes shine when he saw happy and natsu was simply the best ending 🤝🥀 fairy tail zero prepared this feeling 👣👣

I don't remember the editor guy's name but when he says that this year sucks without all the other guilds and Fairy Tail. When Lucy says Fairy Tail no longer exists, he looks at her guild mark and smiles. He was 100% sure Fairy Tail disbandment wouldn't last long. As long as there are people still wearing the guild mark the guild isn't truly gone.
