Hello , could you post a video about blaspheme rights in Northern Nigerian States ? Because many apostates, atheist, ex-muslims and homosexuals are jailed since 40 years , at least. Meanwhile i really appreciate your diaspora , you have to denounce the sharia law established in muslim majority states.

I got dragged on multiple Natural Hair videos by both black people and non black people because I called out the texturism in the black community and I said women with type 4 hair should center ourselves and create our own movement since the original natural hair movement centered mixed women with type 2 and 3 hair. I was tired of seeing women with type 4 hair putting mixed women and non black women with type 2 and 3 hair on a pedestal and calling their type 4 hair nappy and bad. I got tired of hearing “ my 4c hair could never “ and “ I hate my type 4 hair I wish I had loose curls”. Black women with type 4 hair have to embrace our natural hair and stop comparing it to other hair types. Also I have 4a natural hair and yes I can still speak out against the texturism in the black community because I still have type 4 hair.

oh yea, this has been the drill, and the gaslighting is fr, but we wont stop calling it out for what it is! thank you❤

You speak nothing but facts! And those same mixed women made there on movement (exoticals) which is all about how ppl with type 4 hair are envious and pedestal them. We gotta stop. We gotta start loving and embracing our own hair and texture. I can't even wear 3b curly crotchet hair now without hearing their words "they wanna be us..." I will fiercely love my natural hair just to prove that 3b is not the only way to be the "beauty standard". We helped make exotical women the beauty standard but it's not too late to put ourselves on the pedestal. ❤️

Exactly. On the subreddits for natural hair and black hair, we see so many posts like that nearly every week. Whenever I call it out, they tell me I'm mean, I have no empathy, and I don't understand because my hair is probably not short or type 4. But it is type 4 and I wouldn't consider it long since I'm quite a way from my goal length. They find it so hard to believe someone actually loves and wants type 4 hair. Even the ones with long and thick hair still complain and say they wish they had loose curls. It's exhausting.
@PrettyPrincess96095 ай бұрын
@@somtochukwuonyeka4060 I have long hair and I love my type 4 hair. I don’t wish it to be loose curls at all. It’s like they think everyone with type 4 hair hates their hair.

That's it, I'm tired of that sh!t. I'm going to start a space for ladies with 4A to 4C hair (the one that defies gravity only) to praise ourselves, keep track of our journey, share products and style recommendations. Only for girls who try to accept, love and grow their hair on the daily, no room for haters. We need our own bubble of positivity and appreciation. I'm tired of sharing the internet with some people.

@@honks9484 I have type 3b and 3 c and some parts at the front are type 4a. I have a mix of so many different types. I am mixed race and and my hair truly proves that. 😂. All my childhood and teenage years was my white mother getting so angry with my hair. Threatening to shave it all off and then one day in 6th grade she took me to a hair salon and had them take my beautiful long hair(down to my waist) and had them cut it into a mushroom cut. I cried for days and days that I wanted my hair back. She was a white lady and was so inconvenienced of my hair and made me very self conscious. As a teen I had to straighten my hair so that my mother and my aunt would not make fun of me. I think she was embarrassed to have a mixed race child and tried very hard to hide me. My skin is brown how did she explain that I've no idea. And my father was not ever around because she did not allow him to be. I'm 38 and still haven't met him not do I know his name. I do know that he tried to see me many times for 5 years straight but gave up for some reason. I wish I wish he hadn't left me there.

I’m fine with women changing their hair - wigs, weave,dye, braids… My issue stems from women hating their own hair AND THEN projecting that hatred onto my hair. Baby, if you don’t like what grows from your scalp, change it. But don’t tell me MY hair texture is an issue in ANY circumstance, including a wedding, at work, or on the red carpet.

Yess. I grew my 4c to my mid back before I cut it bald then started over. People was surprised my hair was that long but not because of my hair type because I never wore it out. I've always kept it in a protection style under a wig, not glue in wig but a put on and pull off wig.
