How long does it take depends on Mitochondrial function
@deepost260417 сағат бұрын
I wish you would NOT put 1 week in your title. I’ve been 16/8 for 2.5 months with close to zero carbs. My a.m. glucose is still running around 108. How fast a body corrects glucose levels is dependent on many factors…like AGE, like cortisol level, like sleep quality. It’s very discouraging to deal with one week claims, when realistically this may take 6 months or longer.

I fast for 18hrs one or sometimes 2 meal no snacking at all but my bloodsugar is still high! I am doing keto meal low carbs no sugar I am having problems eating all the protein too much meat. I use 1/4 tesp. Of coconut sugar. My mouth is now feeling dry. And BP is high as well. I am so tired of all this I have no gallbladder and I have had a complete hysterectomy. No hrt treatment's My doctor prescribed Metformin for me but I have not taken it as yet. He said I have diabetes but. I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever of diabetes. And he said its hereditary but nobody in my family has evet had this diabetes. So what can I do? What is a good whole foods to eat. I eat, eggs for breakfast also chai seeds salads and roasted chicken fish beef or sometimes pork. Some people say that I have to build muscles. Because I have lost all my muscles and some say I am not eat more fats! I am taking the celtic salts as well. Can you please tell me if my issues is due to diabes or Metabolic Syndrome or maybe low thyroids! When I have intermittent fasting and I start eat my small meal my blood sugar still read very high and that is with eating just and and a piece of bacon and maybe some herbal teas. My sugar goes high still and takes hrs to to go down.

I hear your frustration, and it sounds like you're doing everything you can to manage your blood sugar levels. It must be really confusing and exhausting to not see the results you expect, especially with such strict fasting and a clean diet. Have you considered checking for other underlying issues like insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, or thyroid dysfunction? Sometimes, chronic stress or hormonal imbalances can play a big role as well. I hope you find the right answers and a solution that works for your body. Stay strong!

If you can put up certain practices, it may also help. Eg check whether you suffer from somogyi effects or dawn syndrome so that you will know when to take your medication and the insulin sensitivity boosters we have been taught on this platform. For DM, you have to learn to be your own doctor to survive.
