I appreciate the diversity within the Elite Dangerous community. On one hand, we have The Pilot with his soothing voice and cultured poetry. And on the other we have Yamiks and metric ton dick jokes, which he probably got for cheap from some low-sec Fed system research port on the bubble's edge. It takes all kinds, as they say. I'm glad to be a part of it. Keep up the great work, Pilot!

DUDE I FUCKING FEEL YOU, I mean I've already put 100 hours in the game but this video just got me motivated to boot it up and do some exploring. If you want help/advice for either good yt tutorials or someone do learn any of the activities in the game I'd be more than happy to help, my steam name is de_pression but you'll find it if you look for swantrix, first profile ;)

i love ED, it can bring up the deepest thoughts of creation and serenity, while moments later inducing wonder and true amazement. i fly a federal corvette, and only recently encountered my first barnacle site.. i sat in awe and silence for minutes just looking at the alien structures. even with thousands of hours of play this game will find ways of enchanting players. if i can give any advice. never fly without enough credits to rebuy your ship if its lost, and dont let anyone control how you play, find your joy in the galaxy

Thank you all for kind words, and advices. I'm new in game, which is six years old, but I have some experience already. I've been playing for over 200 hours :) But it's nothing, so yes I'm a newbie. I have seen few other great content providers. They are different and provide great deal of useful informations. This channel is simply most beautiful. Even though that's not what I'm looking for at the moment, I can watch it for hours.

Welcome to the club! As otheres have mentioned before: don't let anyone tell you how to play - there is no right way, only your way. Only advice I could give is: be curious. :) o7

CMDR The_Pilot, I can not with words convey this tantalizing feeling that beholds me. I would compare to when I first gazed upon the night sky and witnessed the stars for the first time. Wonder, bewilderment and the feeling of being so small amongst the majesty of the galaxy before me. I beg of you today, CMDR The_Pilot, to continue this wonderful idea and make this a series as you've done with the ship reviews. I could watch these for hours. ~CMDR Cpt. Pilgor

Most everything on this channel is. There is not "would be" about it. Elite _is_ the community, the content creators, the wings (serious and not so serious). Many games are the same without the players, they have a single story to tell (sometimes well, sometimes badly), or they are a sandbox where the player is a god that creates the story. Elite is not quite that, Elite is just as much about what you do when you exit the game. Even more so than Eve online, which is also player driven.

This popped up first thing in the morning.. I am still in bed.. Emerson... It's going to be a good day. Thank you Pilot for creating videos that show case the beauty of language as much as the stars. I came here for ship reviews and I stayed for the silver tongue that would enthrall Gutamaya. Now I am going to fly my Intemperant Courser (name of my Clipper) through a metallic ring and marvel.
