Love the vid, I've now bought the "Dyneema" version. I'd love to see a detailed vid of your trekking pole hack.

You will love the bag. It’s the only bag I feel comfortable with and don’t get on with any other bag. Yeah sure I will do a video on it soon to show people how easy it is to do

Cheers, I think I know how to do the trekking pole mod but I'm sure a more detailed vid of that and any other mods/hacks/upgrades you've done will be well received. Being a fat bloke I'm having to extend the belt just a bit to make it easier to adjust etc. I might make a vid for that.

The long term reviews are the best. This looks a cracking rucksack Mark, I’d be very tempted tbh. For the money it’s a belter. Good review that and thanks for sharing mate. Atb, Dave

I love the little mods for the trekking poles. I’ve only ever had one bad for camping, a Lowe Alpine one. Good bag but can kill my shoulders sometimes. I’ve played around with the settings and how it’s packed but maybe it’s just me or I carry too much 😂

Sorry to keep commenting, taking this on coast to coast shortly. I think tent in one of the side pockets and large water bottle in the other with maybe a smaller bottle in the holder on the front strap.

Cracking review and we couldn’t agree more when it comes to the front mesh pocket, absolute non negotiable going forward

The mesh just makes carrying them items like jackets and gloves etc much easier. Without it, your bag will be on and off every 2 mins. Thanks for watching 😀.

Hi, thank you for the review! I am considering buying the backpack, it looks really nice. However, I am 1.90 m tall and quite thin, so I was wondering about the fit for me. Would you mind sharing your thoughts on that? Thanks!
@MarkOutdoors_

Hi Malte. I am 188cm tall and the fit is perfect for me. It’s the mostly comfortable pack I have and I use it on every trip. I get no rubbing or aching with this pack. I recommend it. Thanks for watching 😊.

Hello great review. What do you think about upgraded Dyneema version? Is it waste of money or better buy then the standart version.
@MarkOutdoors_
@MarkOutdoors_ Жыл бұрын
I think it is a waste of money. It costs a little more and weighs more too. I like the the nylon material as it’s easier to wipe clean too. Thanks for watching 😀.
@bcamping1
@bcamping1 3 ай бұрын
@@MarkOutdoors_they are very similar materials. Dyneema version is 93% nailon and 7% uhmwpe. Something like that, I cut out the tag, so I can't double check.

Just bought one, thanks for the video some good tips. Whats your setup like for the hydration pack? Do you just rest it on top of your gear in your bag?
@MarkOutdoors_
@MarkOutdoors_ 7 ай бұрын
You will enjoy it. I have tried the 3ful packs and can’t get away with them. This pack I use all the time as it fits me well and it comfortable. I have only used a hydration pack once and I put in down the back and them put my sit pad in front of it for protection. Thanks for watching 😃

@@MarkOutdoors_ Cheers pal, yeah I did look into the 3FUL but really wanted a frame for some longer hikes, I'm about the similar size/build as you. I've just tried it on now, but the only issue I have is that the spacing between the shoulder straps seems quite small and I feel it on my neck when wearing a hoody, but if I don't wear a hoody it's fine. Have you noticed anythin similar? Apart from that, it seems bang on.
@MarkOutdoors_
@MarkOutdoors_ 7 ай бұрын
@@bigkahooney yeah the frame helps. It’s actually the same size as another bag just about between the straps. Same as the osprey bags etc. I wear big down jackets etc and never noticed it very before. The hood sits between them and it’s always been fine. Bags aren’t wide there as its design is to stay in your shoulders. Mate stick your kit in it and have a walk out in it to get a proper feel for it.

@@MarkOutdoors_ Sound pal, does look a nice bit of kit but I have just noticed I have a few cuts/grazes on my neck from the other day, so that probably isn't helping the bag rubbing against it, should be sound once they go as it's only rubbing on that side. I've dropped you a sub as well mate looking forward to seeing some of your trips, cheers for the help

Just got this, the straps look a bit dodgy have you used it on a long distance hike? Not sure I can trust it on something like the coast to coast and will use my Osprey
@MarkOutdoors_

@@DJVOutdoorsyeah I have used it on some long trips and it’s super comfortable. I tried getting a different pack but couldn’t get used to it and still use this. I prefer it over the osprey I have and can’t see my using anything else. Bags are funny with people as they either work or they don’t. This works the best for me as the padding is nice and thick and the length is great too. Hope you get along with it well. Thanks for watching.

@@MarkOutdoors_ thanks I love the roll top opening all bags should be designed like this a large sack it’s much better than my Osprey Exos 48, I arrived in lakes today to camp but was unwell on drive up so had to check into a hotel, was going to use the pack for the first time. I’ll try again soon.

The reason this is light is that it's not in any way a genuine 60L in size. Their own stated dimensions for the 60L multiple to 31L, and the expansion bits are in no way adding another 30L when the main bit is full. I've measured it and filled it and it's nowhere near 60L (yes it's the 60L 1.2kg version). It's *much* smaller than another 60L pack I have, and is actually slightly smaller than a 40L pack I have.
