just finished my durge playthrough - resisted evil and romanced shadowheart. but I followed my bestie karlach to hell and shadowheart and I only hadbest friend dialogue. bitter sweet but thats why im glad this video exsists so I can see what could have been wihtout having to reload. thanks bro

If you saved Shart's parents you get different dialogue from both her and the narrator...I recommend you reupload this again with them alive

Do you expect OP to just have a save file available conveniently right before choosing what to do with her parents? Then have them follow that up by playing till the epilogue just because you recommended them to reupload a video with them alive? Takes time and effort. You claimed you already took this pathway. Just post your own vid of the epilogue with her parents alive instead of being lazy and trying to get other people to do things you can easily do. OP posted the pathways they took. You can do the same.

That and they took the effort to post all available pathways they could have gone available from whatever was their last save point. Which was prob created right before entering the boat for endgame territory. They already did a lot with no one asking them. They personally wanted to do this. So recommending them to do something else that requires much more time and effort to go out of their way to accomplish what you could of easily done is just inconsiderate.

Yeah it was kinda weird bc I opted to severe her bond with shar but she was still in pain during Witcher’s party. Found out you could save her parents and I literally restarted a whole new playthrough 😆 thought I’d go Karlach this time but I gotta have this!!

That she supposedly likes Night Orchids because they don't last long? That line was to show that Shar made her forget why she actually liked them. Nothing good about a reminder that you turned her away from you and into a Shar slave, unless you're roleplaying a very evil person who doesn't want to be loved.

@@joostleisder1956 The line is meant to be a metaphor for Shadowheart and her character arc. It's a beautiful line that gives that whole scene a very Wednesday Adams vibe. It's a beautiful break-up scene and one of my favorite scenes in the whole game.

There's a reason the Dark Justiciar path is the 'bad' outcome and the one you have to actively push her into - because you're pushing her into a path she doesn't want to take. I hope they didn't remove the line though, it was a nice line, even if only in its context, because as Selunite you'll find out why she really likes Night Orchids and the real reason is different.

@@joostleisder1956 You really don't have to actively push her into, it's literally her default path. If Tav isn't around when she's talking to nightsong, she'll become a Dark Justiciar 100% of the time, same thing if your approval is too low with her.

@@MistyKathrine that’s just false and purely a hypothetical you don’t know what she would do if tav wasn’t there. It is easy and there are many ways to save SH from shar and in a “status quo” play-through where you are the good guy you’ll naturally have her spar nightsong.
