Super awesome boat, been interested in these hydrofoil things for about a decade when I saw one for the first time. In the movie Cloud Atlas there is a large vessel that does this "trick"...

I'm glad that someone has invested in and revitalized hydrofoil technology it has lingered in my mind since I was 7 watching watching Thunderball with the Discovalente. But the better solution is computer aided Ground Effect flying Boat like Widget Works an electric version.

You know what the problem with boats with hydrofoils? Everyone builds boats, then puts hydrofoils on them. If your building something where 99% of the drag your vehicle will experience will be on a wing, you should be minimizing weight. Build a circular barge, It will have WAY less material, and therefore weight, for a lower cost, for the same amount of cargo and deck space. And once the hydrofoils bring it out of the water, it will experience WAY less drag, because the hydrofoils are carrying less weight. And it would cost less because you’re using less material in the first place. It’s not that hard guys.

I dont see any difference between this and "native boats", the fact that its "flying" i think is a little misleading. It may be efficient because of the reduced surface area in contact with water but "flying" is wrong. Its just raised!!!!!

@HyperChangeTV8 ай бұрын
actually it's the opposite of an ad. i paid out of pocket to produce this video and fly down to the bay and make it happen. wasn't cheap. Navier is at the forefront of commercializing new technologies that can move us faster, smoother & cheaper on the water. in the future, massive potential can be unlocked in coastal cities if this works. this startup is the definition of hyperchange potential. thats why i spent a lot of time & effort to produce this banging video and bring an exclusive/under the radar story to my subscribers first
@KDunham8 ай бұрын
@@HyperChangeTV Ah that is at least better, but would love some deeper analysis of the company, technology, specs and competition rather than these ad-like videos
