children with autism grow up to be adults with autism, and i can't emphasize how important it is for us to value job coaches. they transit and prepare adults with special needs into the working world, enabling them to earn their own money and live a dignified life. job coaches should be given the prestige and respect they deserve! also this video made me more inclined to purchase things from brands that promote inclusion or hire adults with special needs 😊

Yoo, I have autism too! I think what people really have to understand is that people with autism are just as intelligent as people without, we just have atypical outward presentations. There would be so much more opportunity for people with disabilities if social judgement didn't perceive us as lesser, or defective, or stunted. We are usually capable of all the things you are, we just suck at socializing.

@@nabelalifxiiak4565 Basically it means everyone has a certain level of autism. Spectrum as in like a spectrum of light there are many colours in a spectrum of light. So basically different levels of autism for everyone. Some are extreme, some are mild, some are negligible, some are negligible but noticeable.

We can be just as smart or smarter than you or any other non autistic person. Autism isn’t a learning disorder; we can also be geniuses in certain areas just as Albert Einstein was and he was autistic too. However some autistic people can also have a learning disorder just like non autistic people can have. Thanks

My SO is diagnosed with High Functioning Autism and we have been doing very well together ( our first year anniversary was this month ). I do see myself having children with them one day and the probability that our kids will have Autism will be on the higher end. I myself have never judged special needs kids growing up who participated in our classes or schools. I am very happy to see the raising of the awareness that people with special needs are capable as well and the company that gave Yi Lin an opportunity to earn his own money and be independent really puts a smile on my face giving me hope for humanity. However our future will be with our kids I just hope I am more than ready to support them and as well as the rest of the world to lend a tiny boost to those in need.

Last time I attended special needs workshop for my curiosity. the lecturer run special need school in bangsa, KL. What she share is so valuable, autism children's brain 🧠 wiring slightly different, we just need to give them as much brain tools to manage their own difference. The singer Jay Chow from Taiwan is slightly autism, but omg his music sense is way advance for his time. takes time to manage but provide as much opportunity for them. They can perform their superpower.. it's amazing

I think the family need to put him under special school & to have someone who can monitor him when the parents are no longer there. He may look independent, but he still clearly need help in some ways like his bank account, which he got scammed. So i think if he put under a facilities, they can help maintain his account & also a roof for him & other austism child.

I disagree. He is now in his early 20s and he’s learning the life skills needed to be independent. Learning from mistakes like scammers is part of growing up. He is obviously thriving and happy, will be cruel to put him in a facility! I wouldn’t put my child in any facility too.

In cases like these, conservative parents will advice the couples to have another (or more) children because it will act as "fallback" for them should they turn out growing normal in the future, however the big fear is what if the next children be born will also have special needs issue and the couples will have to deal with another reality check
