These women carry on the much needed reinforcement of the teachings of Claire Weekes. So glad to see them both do great work.

It's easy to feel logic and confidence in coping with a panic attack until you are in the middle of one

I was thinking something similar:When it's over, after some time you think you could have done better, when it happens it is impossible to fight it.

Hey, thanks to you I just had a major realization that it's wrong to say "I am afraid of..." or "I have a phobia ... ", but rather "My brain interprets ... as danger". There is always an Interpretation before the fear response and we can change that. Dare is helping me so much in recovery. Thank you all!

Girls you’re so amazing! I was in a moment where I was arriving to the same conclusions you said after months of anxiety and just listening to your points of view resonated so well with my path. Thank you KZbin for recommending me to this geniuses

Does anyone have any tips for the utter exhaustion that follows a prolonged period of sympathetic nervous system over activation? I seem to bounce between a state of terror and a state of exhaustion and finding it hard to get into that happy middle place

I've had anxiety and panic disorder for eight years. I worked out regularly for two years but had to take a month off due to panic attacks during workouts. Now, I'm afraid to lift weights because of heart palpitations and fear of a heart attack, causing me to lose muscle mass. Please help me so I can lift weights again.

What if the whoosh is caused by a chronic condition like acid reflux for example or another physical ailment that is very hard to treat.

Mostly panic attack as mentioned in the video is characterized by a "whoosh" of energy, In my case it is triggered by mental fatigue and sleep deprivation and feels like no energy or feeling of faintness , is that the freeze response instead of fight or flight. Has anyone had the same experience

@@Rhianna2023 I feel your pain but just know that most anxiety sufferers develop health anxiety because of their sensitized body and mind. And also with all that remember you are safe you are not in danger because of all this nightmares. Do you have certain phobias? Do you experience heart palpitations ( racing heart) or it’s just what you mentioned above because most people have this! Remember you are not alone and all is well!

By not avoiding working out and understanding the cognitive and physical ways your nervous system works. This way when you start feeling fear 😮 you understand it and don’t escalate it with more fear.

57:32 im sorry but what? You think that when people are faced with their big fears they can just say "so what" to the fear and it will be gone? It doesnt matter what you tell yourself at the moment. You cant just gaslight yourself into not having fear. Thats not how our brains work.
