Always a relief to find a Pagan come out as not being a Neo Fascist. Over the years I've had to unfollow a few YT channels and its always a heartbreak moment. Bless your Pagan heart brother! ❤️ from 🇨🇦 🐐 🍻 🐐

In anime or manga circles, a beloved underdog character named Joe Yabuki from a classic sports anime called _"Ashita no Joe"_ (Tomorrow's Joe) which explores deeper themes like Struggle + Resilience, Identity + Self-Discovery, Friendship + Rivalry, Class Struggle + Society, Mortality + Legacy, Isolation + Alienation, and lastly Redemption and Forgiveness. The main protagonist is often admired for his determination & non-conformist attitude but his self-destructive/impulsive behaviour (which led to his tragic death) is heavily romanticized from the community. Because to me, it always felt like a cautionary tale (kinda like the character of Walter White from Breaking Bad) life is too precious & short to be wasted. so starting now, i am going to practice to be alot more compassionate with myself & to live life much more responsibly.

Doesn't he turn into a despotic worm man? I think leaving that part out of the movies probably misdirected people's opinions

The Lovecraftian batshit theory that life is on Earth due to collisions with space objects is pretty normal science now. Lots of comets out there, lots of collisions in the early Solar System, dropped a lot of ice onto the planet.

3:18 I need to beg to differ concerning pseudoscience. Granted, the popular use of the term is often applied just to the claims of theories, labeling them as batsh*t crazy, but in philosophy of science, the distinction is about the methodology behind generating and justifying such claims: one core aspect is e.g. whether a theory could be refuted with sufficient empirical data. In light of this, psychoanalysis is clearly pseudoscientific as it doesn't follow the scientific method, and it's claims cannot be falsified empirically (see Popper), while the Ptolemaic (geocentric) model of the universe is scientific, even though it turned out to not be accurate. To illustrate the distinction, think of Einstein's relativity theory, claiming that light (and even time!) are affected by gravity: this is highly scientific exactly because at the time it seemed so utterly crazy and unlikely, that we should "easily" be able to falsify it via an experiment. Regarding the examples from the video, some of them started off as scientific hypotheses but, by adding exceptions to "prevent" them from falsification, they became ideological and pseudescientific in the sense above.

but - as far as I know - in the early 20th century eugenics research was still based on the available data and commonly accepted methodology of the time. Popper's suggestion of falsification might (famously) deem psychoanalysis pseudo-scientific, but 1) that doesn't mean that it applies to early 20th century eugenics, which was practiced by acknowledged normative institutions and scholars -and 2) Perhaps we should also distinguish between one the one hand "non-falsifyable" disciplines in Poppers sense (which probably includes parts of anthropology, sociology and humanities) -and on the other hand grenswissenshaft in Kurlanders sense where you find magnetic treatments, para-psychology, telepathy and world Ice theory.

Also one reason why we associate certain Nazi symbols or imagery(and the stuff you mentioned) is due to decades of mainstream medias(including books, movies etc) constant one dimensional portrayal of it all.... As you say it felt better to compartmentalize it to wash their "own hands" of sin.

Europeans like this guy are so invested in opposing anti-semitism, but never seem to be as equally invested in opposing jewish anti-gentilism. As a matter of fact, the latter concept has probably never even occurred to him.

It's like swimming up stream my friend, but I am committed to the journey. We MUST share in an honest, unabashed way. Self actualization & awareness of our cultural histories...we have all been affected by nationalism to some degree, but we must recognize those spaces and doctrines. Great video. I used to be surprised that the new age movement was a pipe line to fascist ideologies but it allll makes sense when we educate ourselves. It is not surprising that colleagues I know who subscribe to the "Lumerian, Atlantis and Alien conspiracies" lean more to American nationalistic ideologies. And yet they are absolutely hurt and shocked when parallels and intersectionality is pointed out. It seems the N*zi occult model was to disregard relationship, and just cherry pick & appropriate ideas into one big amphetamine induced dopamine stimulant ideology. It's ugly head is still here but it was NOT the originator of our all folk beliefs and I personally will keep teaching and sharing the relationships that were taught to me by my family, to others. Thank you again for all you do, your self awareness and honest yarning.❤

Thank you for sharing this. The topic of Nazi appropriation of (any but especially nordic) traditions has been on my mind since I saw an etymology channel discussing runes say that belief in mystical powers of the runes comes from the nazi/volkisch movement. Knowing more about hebrew than I do about runes, I found it unfortunate that an esoteric interpritation of this language had become tarred with the brush of fascism and wasn't sure quite how fair that aspersion was.
