I’m surprised a lot of people don’t know this by now but the old school mycareer experience is in “mynba” now. you can make a player give him whatever overall rating you want put him on any team make trades etc without any hassle. You’d have to look up some videos for the steps but it’s really easy to do and you can put your player into any era you want too.

Worst review ever!!! Completely skimmed over the gambling aspects in Myteam. And this isn’t the “go to” choice, it’s the ONLY choice!!! You spent 2 mins on the pay to win aspects and ignored the fact that you’d have to spend either 1,000 hours or THOUSANDS of dollars in my career or my team to stay competitive and single player content is limited. There is no way this game is an 8 overall. Complete hack job.

the pay to win is worse every year they reduced all VC rewards from in game quests by half and lots of weekly quests and daily reward just enough VC to get 1 attribute up and they require way to much work to do it

Shooting is the main problem. I’ve went thru every shooting setting and I’m still missing wide open shots with perfect timing due to the fact that there’s no pure green window. 2K labs has confirmed each shot has different timing to try to counter cheating.

I'm a My Era guy and they screwed up the presentation. No halftime show , no score ticker that shows results from other games , they don't show the player averages during the game , no playoff logos on the floor , the wrong trophy for the Finals MVP for 80's , 90's and early 2000's era. You can't have a game representing the 80's , 90's and the early 2000's and not have all the details of that era. Also .......No Warmups and no starting lineup introduction.

It’s far from a skill issue you brainless squirrel. 2K labs has confirmed there is no pure green window so each shot has diffferent timing to counter cheating. That’s why your missing wide open shots no matter wha setting you have it on.

2k24 was the first 2k I haven’t had or bought since I was a kid back in 2010 and tbh I liked 23 and they lost me with 24, but 25 seems decent, it feels smooth like a mix of 2k 14-17 with a splash of nba live 19 thrown in, I can’t bitch too much!

I see the ups and downs of this review by allowing someone who doesnt play nba 2k to revieew the game it allows us to see the perspective of a super casual played it also gives a unbias report that tells us how its like for them But at the same time he didnt get the same experience that we have we play 2k mainly for the online mode and he just glances at it not realizing those are the main reasons why 2k have big number's so its like hes reviewing things that aren't even necessary

The person who reviewed this is a casual basketball watcher and probably doesn't play 2k that often. He reviewed the game and only spoke about the multi player game modes my team and my player. I guess my gm and my nba my wnba are not included. Not everyone who plays 2k plays myplayer. You can enjoy 2k without spending any money.

I think 2K has always put out a good basketball game just like PlayStation has always put out a good baseball game. Too bad EA sports does not know how to make a Madden game and even if it was not called Madden it would not be good. I hope one day that will be somebody that will step up and make us a very cool.
