Why even make Rep boost based on affiliation? Give it out on trick or treat, Christmas tree, holidays and events. Just make it a participation thing and give it to everybody, or else there will be someone crying about it. Ngl I was right next to my router with the best Internet Tennessee has to offer and eventho i didn't lag. The servers def was choppy and delayed a little. I think they patched the driving dunks again because I have a 96 driving dunk and was getting my shot blocked all day yesterday, even by guards smh. Something is def going on

I think what threw off the balance this year was last year’s heat check. Last year it was exclusively to Rise and was overpowered. A lot of people joined Rise for heat check not knowing it was available to both affiliations imo

They should have at least 4 affiliations, each one having a special boost to a players main playstyle like defense, shooting, slashing, playmaking boost, then rep voost shpuld be giving to every affiliation like 1st place gets 40%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%, 4th 10%, and vc prizes to encpurage more people to participate

For the ppl that aren’t followers I feel like usually pick the affiliation based off the park courts. For 24&25 2k has made one affiliations park court overwhelmingly better than the other. If they make both courts cool or basic like 2k15 or 16, one won’t be so slanted

Face it….. it’s you. Find a jumpshot and timing that fits you. Try to learn rhythm shooting. Go to your my court… connect to server and shoot around for 10-15 minutes before you start playing. Make sure you get your hot / lethal zones. You think just because you have a 99 3 ball you should make every shot? If youre bad at the game youre bad at the game. Make an inside big and have fun

Everyone was on Elite last year. Comp was on elite for the 2 way tenacity. When everyone found out it didn’t matter THIS year ,majority players just … switched over… just because why not. If u chose elite. see the trend. And don’t get on the wrong side next time 😂

We dont have a full list leaderboard for all anyone knows elite could have 75 in the top 100 and either way the rep leaderboard doesnt have a direct correlation to who is playing the events! And if u think a lot of sweats didnt pick elite this year because elite won last year you arent thinking it through enough! We just dont have all the data!

Why do we have to do the events to qualify? The events are always bad. Why cant normal games like park or rec or proving grounds count? I like 5v5 but there is almost never a 5s event. I dont want to have to play 3s and not have fun just to get a bonus.

I’m gonna be honest with you if they brought the affiliation system back the same way that it was before we would have the same issue the problem I have with the way that people look back on certain things is they’re looking back at a time when KZbin was in its infancy. The game had the same problems back then they just weren’t publicized, people also forget that the affiliations used to carryover every game and there was definitely two affiliations that always got the most people that’s why we only have two now the community tries to shirk the fact that we shaped this game to be what it is. The proof is in the pudding just look at the comments in this chat everyone wants something different, everyone wants some advantage that the Other didn’t have I remember at the beginning of a couple years ago when they started elite and rise, elite was where everyone went until somebody said that heat check was overpowered then you saw a huge rise in flux and also a Nerf to rises ability heat check the truth about all of this is it’s all in how we perceive the game that makes this game what it is the game could be perfect and if a group of people want to shift that to the game is trash, all they have to do is make videos and have people echo what they are saying and after a few days, an incorrect take becomes the truth. Does 2K have its issues yes but the community does too, and I refuse to hold 2K accountable and let the community slide
