The Lakers already have injured players. Robert Williams is a no go

Wouldn't be a Lakers level IQ if we didn't hype up a guy who has played 46 games over 3 years.

@@TheBasketballBulletin Yeah, but Williams has been injured and missed a significant amount of games every season that he's been in the league - he's only played 50+ games in 2 of his 7 seasons and the most games he's played in any season is 61.

Hell no on Robert "Street Clothes" Williams III - he's only played 50+ games in two of his 7 seasons and never played more than 61 games in any season. He's about as injury prone as a player can get.
@JSPRKL8 күн бұрын
Yeah he is so tempting though.

On paper, Robert Williams 111 looks great for the Lakers, but in reality, we will be looking at both him and Vando on the bench.
@djgriffin82119 күн бұрын
I'd add Paul Reed to that available center list. He's now eligible to be traded by the Pistons and is buried on their bench behind Duren and Stewart.. Keep an eye on OKC to possibly trade for him with Holmgren out for a while. His salary ($7.7M) would both fit into the Thunders MLE and keep them under the tax line.
@blablablaa149 күн бұрын
Larry Nance is the best value pick from all of these. He is shooting (on tiny volume 63% from three and shot 41% last year). Seems like an amazing rotation guy, don't let the Celtics get him
@ricy8029 күн бұрын
Larry making 10M+ Per year. idk who the Celtics would have to move salary wise to make it work. Al Horford? Don't see that happening. Think he makes more than Al too.
@SmittyWitTheVibes8 күн бұрын
I like Larry Nance for the Lakers as well. Him or Capela
@blablablaa148 күн бұрын
@@ricy802 Payton Pritchard or Sam would be the salaries matching. Not saying the Celtics would do that but he fits perfectly in their squad as a replacement for Al long term
@blablablaa148 күн бұрын
@@SmittyWitTheVibes If the Lakers were smart they would get both for DLo
@ricy8028 күн бұрын
@blablablaa14 they would have to wait until next year to use Hauser in that type of trade. Payton doesn't make enough. I believe with the 2nd apron, the Celtics can't take on more salary in a trade. Likely would need more players than just Pritchard and he's balling this year

For the lakers unless its a video game stay away from Rob Williams. Truthfully all big guys get injured, just that stay away from the frequent visitors. Lakers need Big and perimiter players i agree. Lakers need a J. Richardson from Miami, Thybulle from Portland and the way KCP is playing in florida maybe get him for cheap to see if he plays better back in the west, or maybe just wise up and get Smart... As far as centers go, lakers need defensive rebounders. So i would stick to those like NY Robinson, Nick Richards from Char-after injury and if you are really desperate Drummond from Philly(also a guy who has been playing like crap). Sometimes new jerseys give players boosts.

The Lakers should be targeting Clint Capela of the Hawks! 22.2 million for Clint Capela on a expiring contract. D Lo & Rui for Clint & Deandre Hunter
@JSPRKL8 күн бұрын
Atlanta owes SAS their unprotected first so they are all in on the playoffs this year. And with the East looking so weak after CLE and BOS they have a shot at the 4 or 5 seed for sure. This trade makes them worse as Russell is a locker room cancer and Rui is average on his best day.
@SmittyWitTheVibes8 күн бұрын
@ I think Atlanta just might trade Trae Young at the deadline and go full rebuild. Onyeka Okongwu is the future at the 5 in ATL and they have Larry Nance buried on their bench. If Clint is available then Larry Nance should surely be available, either option would be suffice depending on the cost of course.
