Actually, Edey will most likely be a top 15 pick. It's because of question whether his game will translate to the NBA. I call it the Luka Garza effect. I can see Edey going as high as #8 to SA, #9 to Memphis, #10 to Utah, #12 to OKC, #14 to Portland or #17 to the Lakers. He won't last to #19. Some other players for the Raps at #19 are Kel'el Ware, Tristan da Silva and DaRon Holmes but seems like they may be gone before #19 as well. At #31 I am looking at Terrence Shannon Jr, Jaylon Tyson, Adem Bona and Baylor Scheierman. Terrence Shannon Jr was found innocent at his trial where the female seemingly just picked him out of the crowd because he was a high profile athlete. He wasn't even next to the lady in question when the incident took place.

I think there's a role for Zach in the NBA. There's a number of supersize matchups at C now (Embiid, Wemby). It's worth having a superheavyweight in the rotation, and there aren't many that can really play. I don't know how many minutes that gets him in the regular season, but I think he can find a role as the very big big man in the rotation for a number of squads. I think his mobility and endurance aren't that bad. Some of his post moves, his footwork looks pretty good! I don't know if 35 minutes of sprinting is what he's best at, but he should be able to give some good minutes with what he's got.

Hope Edey can play well in the NBA and prove doubters wrong.

Raps should trade Jakob for that #9 pick and get Edey

Again why is Clingan's trash athleticism not an issue but Edey's is.

He is such a good basketball player…if a nobody can find a use for him then they have failed as GMs and lost an incredible talent…post touches are not “the norm” but the 3 optimal ways to score are 1) 3 point line 2) getting to the FT line and making them consistently 3) points in the paint (layups/dunks/anything with a couple feet of the basket)….Zach is elite at 2 of those 3 things….he is also an elite rebounder and rim protector…he has so many things that he is elite at the notion of not being playable inherently is crazy…he will be an elite role player or low end star if a team really wants to use him

I want the Spurs to pick him at 8 as a backup for Wemby. Zach could help with the defensive drop off when Victor is not on the court. His rebounds and paint presence should mitigate the D Drop off. However, if Wemby and Edey get to where they can set each other up for lobs. Then that could be incredible!

Back up? He could start next to Wemby and give SA their new "Twin Towers"... two 7'4 players.

No surprise Memphis snagged him. Gotta replace Steven Adams !
