@Aaron Daneils When he started off in Sacramento he had a lot of turnovers, but that was also the time he had a lot of showtime. It’s why he got traded. It seemed like when he started to play with Shaq he started to mature as a point guard. He will always be one of my favorite players for his creativity though.👍

Although he was never an all star and although his stats are not the beefiest, he truly changed the modern game of basketball. That Sacramento Kings around 1999-2000 changed the NBA forever. It was infectious. I would legit watch random Sacramento Kings games just to watch this guy because he was so mesmerizing. If you told somebody today that you were randomly watching Sacramento Kings games, they would think you were on heavy drugs. But as fore-mentioned, though his stats weren’t the greatest, I truly believe that his IMPACT on the game was so immense that you cannot tell the story of the NBA without including White Chocolate, thus I think he should at least be considered for the HOF. A lot of true greatness get belittled by a stat line. Granted, stats are important, but IMPACT is a real thing, and to eventually become an NBA champion with his early adversary in Shaq is special. Just listen to how all of the greats talk about this man.

The few people who where’s working out all walk by and said hi and he was super nice, smiled and said hi back and even hung out with some super fans who wanted to talk to him. Seemed like a really down to earth guy.

I don't think you can put JWill's career anything up against any of these guys (short of the one ring he has that a few missed out on)...but are you telling me it was JWill's doing for that ring? Exceptional players include: JWill, Penny Hardaway, Tim Hardaway, Mark Price, Westbrook, Marbury, maybe Cousy. Exceptions is exactly that, EXCEPTIONAL! I grew up watching the kings from the Mitch Richmond days in mid 90’s. I remember the great teams of the Kings from 99 to 2002, they were so fun to watch. In my opinion 2001-2002 Sacramento Kings are world champions

Back in the day no one from my Godfather's office would take the front row Spurs tickets to the Kings so we would as kids. J Williams was awesome to watch! We were notorious for heckling Webber and he would come over and have tons of fun with us pre and post game. Truly a great NBA player and what the league is missing today!

Crazy good was Jdub in HS bro. I played against him and Randy Moss when both were at Du Pont HS. It is a small country town and it produced JW, Randy and former Chicago Bears DB Bobby Howard. Anyways, they would stomp us every year. Jason was also a gym rat. Literally the last one to leave and was always practicing crazy passes. Everyone would come out to watch them play like it was a college game. Williams breaking ankles and lobby up oops on the break that Moss would catch on the block and posterize everyone. Then I got to watch them both play at Marshall U. Jason only stayed for a year and then left with Billy Donovan to Florida. I have old videotapes here I might upload. Jason was a good QB as well.

A diehard Laker fan (born in L.A. in the 60's) after growing up on Pistol Pete Maravich then living in L.A. during the 80's, 90's & 2000's starting with watching Magic, Bird, Isiah Thomas, Mark Jackson, John Stockton, Jason Kidd, (Gary Payton, Mark Price, then Nick the Quick Van Exel, etc., thru to Steve Nash) then the first time I saw White Chocolate J-Will Jason Wms., I was struck and stunned, he did things none of those before him had done, he actually put goose bumps and shivers all over me even more than Magic did (and I watched essentially every game Magic played and had hundreds of VHS taped games lol), sure, Magic, Bird, Cousy, Pistol Pete, etc., did some spectacular 'trick/unique' passes but J-Will had even more PLUS he had quickness even more than those guys did. J-Will really did make you want to and have to pay closer attention and WOWED the crowd at a higher level. IMHO I almost committed sacrilege and almost moved to Sacto (couldn't help but be a fan).
