Network TV used to do a great job with stuff like this. I remember loving and hating the end of the Olympics because I hated seeing the games end. But NBC used to do an amazing job with the end credits for them. And they were like 10-15 minutes of credits.

Worked so well for the time! Don't think they'd work today... In the 90's they played so hard it felt like you just watched a 7 hour action movie , so these montages really worked as an end credit.

“Winning It All” by The Outfield was used by NBC as the closing credits for the NBA Finals from 1992-96. In 1997 they used “I Believe I Can Fly” by R.Kelly. In 1998, they used classical music. Then, in 1999 and 2000, they used “All Fired Up”. I can’t remember which song they used for the 2001 Finals. In 2002, they used a “Goodbye Montage”.

Doc Brown needs to finish building that time machine so I can go relive my childhood/teenage years. I was 10 when the Bulls won their first title, and 17 when they win their sixth title. Watched almost every game in that time span.

First off, the 1990 Finals were on CBS..secondly, they stopped using this song after the 1996 Bulls-SuperSonics final..

Back when the NBA was great. Games were competitive. Athletes really had to work hard to win. Defense was taught to players. Physical play. Players had to earn everything. Today's NBA is a cheap joke. Nothing will be the style of the 80's and 90's NBA.
