Finally found another guy who’s bearish on the Grizzlies. It seems like everyone else is penciling them for a lock in the playoffs but just 2 years ago they got completely exposed by the Lakers in the playoffs and they really didn’t do anything to shore up their weaknesses since then. And I completely agree that it’s ridiculous to expect Ja to win them 19 more games, much less winning 25 more games to get 50 wins

The Mavs are about to have a 67 win season, Luka will win MVP then they will lose in the first round to the warriors. But fr though I think Mavs are at least a 55 win team, 60 win pace post trade-deadline last year, coming back after losing in finals, and Naji Marshal is a great replacement for DJJ and Klay is an amazing replacement for THJ also 2nd Year Dlive. And they have so much motivation to have a good season, Lukas never gotten MVP, Kyrie is getting older and its his last chance to contribute, same w Klay (needs to beat washed allegations).

under on the hornets is kinda crazy to me. last year was almost entirely without lamelo and mark williams. also some of their better role players only got there at the deadline last year (grant williams and tre mann). add josh green into the mix and they have like 6-7 solid role players surrounding two young stars, easy play-in team if you can get 50-60 games out of lamelo (he’s due for a healthy season at this point)

I agree with most of these, and even if i dont, definitely understand the reasoning, the Rockets one lost me a bit though. Dont get me wrong i know this isnt 2k, but id still have to imagine at least one of Sengun, Green, Amen, Jabari Smith, Cam Whitmore, take the next step + Tari Eason coming back from injury + adding someone who was shooting 50% from three in Reed + general internal improvement from the team staying mostly the same, would get them more than two wins of an improvement. I could see an argument though for there being too much, as i named 7 people who will get rotation minutes without mentioning FVV, Dillon, Steven Adams, shit im probably missing a person that is rotation worthy, so i could see potentially just being too many mouths to feed / too many egos.

Kings I think will surprise some people. They managed to keep their main core while gaining Demar Derozan and Jalen Mcdaniels. Could be a top 3 seed in the west, not sure how that will translate in the playoffs though, we will see. They need to fix their defensive issues before I can start legitimately considering them a contender. Suns are really really disappointing to me. They have such a good starting 5 but I don't know how well they can push on in the playoffs with that bench they have. They made some notable moves in the offseason, so we will see but I still am not that high on them. They truly shot themselves in the foot with that Beal contract. I think this will be the Sixers year (I am delusional). Barring injuries', they are in easily the best shape they for a long playoff run since 2019. I really like the longer videos, and speculating on team successes. Keep it up, I am excited to see what comes on this channel when the regular season starts!

I'm rooting for the Kings, but you're right they lost Davion so the defense is still going to be an issue. I think the suns are going to naturally improve given another year to improve chemistry. disappointed by the knicks under, when OG and Brunson play they are 11-1 in the regular season. Randle was hurt since end of January and OG was hurt for most of the year after that too. A healthy knicks team wins at least 57 games imo. Hartenstein is a big loss but Mikal is an incredible addition, if they can get a legit backup center then this team is right up there with the celtics Edit: I was wrong, they’re 19-2 with OG and Brunson which is insane. I was just thinking about their January record with Randle also playing with those 2
@majr2248
@majr2248 15 күн бұрын
I agree that if they’re healthy they’ll be stupid good, it just seems unlikely with Robinson and OGs track record atp, not to mention Randle. If Robinson goes down I assume Precious will be the starting centre, I didn’t hate his minutes behind Isiah last season but I don’t like the sound of that.
@CheepsAhoy69

@@majr2248 Mitch is for sure injury prone. History has proven OG misses time every season but the injuries are all freak accidents kinda, I did a deep dive into it a few months ago and they’re all unrelated bad luck like bone spurs, appendectomy, contusions. Precious is a fine backup center but when Mitch surely misses games then Sims will most likely start and I straight up don’t think he’s good

I enjoyed watching Jonas play last year and I think he is the only reason that the Pelicans aren't going to be a top four seed. But he was still very solid rebounder and just had a good Court presence. They need to get active in figure something out. It seemed like there were guys available but New Orleans didn't pull the trigger. It's a little frustrating like the Denver situation where you're in a win-now mode but your not active at all in free agency. Where I'm at in the video you haven't gotten to them yet but I'm going to guess that the Nuggets do not make their over this year. They're going to have to fight really hard to even make it to the fourth seed. I don't understand this team's management because they have the best player in the NBA and they're being extremely inactive. If any team should be win now it needs to be the Nuggets. On top of their inactivity there is definitely something going on with Jamal Murray. The guy hasn't looked like himself for about 6 months now. I'm a nuggets fan so I'm worried about this team.😊

I think that Memphis is definitely an over. They lost their entire lineup last year besides Jaren Jackson Jr. You have to look at this team from the year before and then they added Marcus Smart. This is going to be close to a 50 win team. I can't stand the Grizzlies but they're going to be very good edit: they did have Desmond Bane last year. BANE!! I think you're looking at this team as if they were only missing Ja Morant last year but I really do think you should look at what they did in 2022 and then add in Zach Edey and Marcus Smart. the reason the mavs were worse before the deadline is because they were the second most injured team in the entire nba before february. they were 15-1 when luka and gafford started post trade deadline. i just dont see how a team that went to the finals, beating 3 other 50 win teams, that got better in the offseason, and will be healthier next year (have to, seeing as they were pretty much the most injured) doesnt at least get 50 this year again. that kind of felt like a casual take by you

honestly I am kind of casual. I just felt like the Mavs came out of nowhere last year. PJ Washington and Gafford became studs out when they became Mavs.
