I think it depends on what day it is. Sometimes Gil lies trying to boost himself up and sometimes he lies to make himself look humble. Multiple players have talked about Gil dropping 60 on Kobe and then roasting Kobe on the phone a couple of days later. Kobe told him he had something for him next time and dropped 34 on the Wizards while trying to lock Gil down. Gil dropped 37 on him
